It was a day after the Yule Ball, AKA Saturday.

Us muggle-borns were deprived; none of our electronics were working. So, we needed help from an expert. And I knew two.

"Fred! George!" I spot the two red-heads in the corridor and run up to them.

"Hey there, Hufflepuff," they greeted in unison.

"Hello! Can you help me with something?" I asked.

They looked at each other.

"Hmm... Should we help her, Fred?" George asked his twin.

"I don't know, George. Should we?" Fred tilted his head.

"Well, it would be gentlemen-like, wouldn't it?" George pointed out.

"True, but have we ever cared about being gentlemen?" Fred replied.

"Ah, that's a good point. But Mother did give us a stern talking to," George responded.

"Ah, we must obey the mother," Fred agreed, then turned to me. "What can we do for ya?"

"Do you know what wi-fi is?" I asked.

"Wi-fi?" They gave me a blank look.

"Yeah, it's a thing Muggles use to get these," I held up my iPhone, "to work."

"Fascinating... what is this?" Fred carefully took my phone and turned it around.

"Careful, Freddie. A dragon may come out of that any second," George told him cautiously.

"It's a phone!" I laughed. "And if you both can get it to work, I'll give you five Galleons. Each."

"Deal!" they exclaimed in unison, and both of them took each of my hands and shook it vigorously.

"Let's go, Georgie!" Fred ran off, I'm assuming to begin working on the new project.

"Right behind ya, Freddie!" George took off behind them.

"What was that all about?" Draco came up behind me.

"Oh, nothing. I was just seeing if they could create something like wi-fi," I explained.

"Wifi?" He raised in eyebrow.

"It's a Muggle thing, it's gets all of our electronics to work," I told him.

"Elsa!" Jamie came from the other end of the hall. "Have you seen Dan?"

"No, why?" I asked.

"Aaron was talking with Phil again, not even flirting, and Dan ran off. I don't know what he's gonna do to Aaron, but I have a feeling it won't be good." Jamie's eyes were wide with concern.

Suddenly, we heard shouting from down the hall.

"I think we're about to find out," Draco said, and we ran to find out what was going on.

Dan and Aaron had their wands out, facing each other. Phil was trying to reason with Dan, and Rhaenys, Aaron's sister, was failing to calm them down.

Dan straightened his arm to cast a spell, and before we could react, Jamie was shouting,

"Expelliarmus!"

And Dan went flying into Phil. Jamie caught his wand with ease, walking over to the group.

"Jamie!" Dan exclaimed, glaring.

"Don't even think about it." Jamie levelled her wand with Dan, pointing the brunet's wand at Aaron. "Both of you explain yourselves. Now."

"I was just apologising to Phil for what happened at the Yule Ball. Dan saw us and decided I was trying to make a move again, and--" Aaron suddenly cut himself off, took a deep breath and straightened his posture. "I tried to reason with him. I had my wand out, yes, we both did, but only of he tried something first."

"Only if I tried something first?! How would you like it if I flirted with your boyfriend?!" Dan yelled.

"Oi! Knock it off!" Jamie snapped. "Apologise. And don't go near each other again until you can both act your age."

"'M sorry, Dan," Aaron said. Dan glared at the floor.

"Daniel James Howell."

"I'm sorry," he snapped. Then he stood up, grabbing Phil's hand and storming off.

As January dragged on, there seemed to be less and less tension between us all. Aaron and Dan had finally sincerely apologised, Neville and I became closer, several Phan moments happened (I ship it so hard, guys). I even made a couple new friends!

Kalah Claire, a fifth year Slytherin, who was actually Kaeleigh's sister. She's male to female transgender, so her parents decided to send her to Hogwarts because it seemed like a more accepting school. She's awesome, though. I love her.

I also met two other kids--Tobi McGuire, a fourth year Hufflepuff, and Tommy Keynes, a fourth year Gryffindor. Well, I already knew Tommy, but that's beside the point. They weren't so nice. Tobi was okay, but Tommy was awful. He was rude, racist, homophobic and just a general arse. None of the other Gryffindors talk to him, and I understand why. He's always been an asshole though--I've known him since we were little. Tobi's gender fluid. There are so many LGBTQDIA+ (so many letters) students I'd never known about at Hogwarts! It's super cool to meet people who really understand my gender and sexuality.

Besides all of that, and besides the hype about the Tournament, January was pretty boring. But February was the second task, and everyone was buzzing with excitement.

So yeah, another filler. Oops. :p
