Chapter 4 Training

when we got to sensei 's house we were hit with loud metal music huh. why cant it be like in movies where the sensei is old and quiet and wise but no we were given the sexy mischevious one who would kick my ass in ten seconds for saying "slip knot sucks " and comment on everything like an annoying teenager.

well. that migh be because hes only 30 but hes still immature.

we walked in and 3 days grace was playing we got in to our skin tight black pants and shirts and went down stairs he was playing gears of war.  i had to yell over the music even though i knew that he'd already sensed us

" sensei get ur lazy butt off that game and teach us!"

without warning the game was paused and he dissappeared i blocked the fist that i sensed behind me and used it as leverage to pull down my attacker while flipping behind him.

before i could land my opponent got up while throwing me across the room at anison. he ducked and started playing the game and i turned and landed on my feet and turned off the music.

" really?" i asked with a raised eye brow .

i turned away from my sensei as he stuck his tounge out at me .

" i win!"

i rolled my eyes and opened all the blinds and watched him squirm under the light with his eyes squinted. This happened once every week he would go into the training ground play loud music and a war game in the dark until i turned it off and he usally attacked me and won but he lost this time.

" no u didnt sensei u hit the ground first not me."

"oh right. well then good job alright today i want you to work on your sixth sense control" he pointed at me

" and you to work on kunai dodging no blunt tips this time" he said pointing at anison.

anison grimaced but we both knew that as painful as it was to get hit by a kunai it was good motivation.

before i started i wanted to ask sensei something" hey sensei why were you watching me at lunch? dont bother lying to me i felt you."

he shrugged " testing your sense and that being said you passed you will now be doing kunai throwing"he said quickly waggling his eyebrows.

I laughed and faced the wall awy from my brother i reached in my weapons case and threw out 3 kunei then jumping back i threw three more right behind them. i looked behind me and laughed my brother had doged the first 3 but the other three were down where it counts and to his left and right.

Had he moved or i been off he'd hane blood comming from his sides and no kids. he glared at me i just skipped over to him and pulled them out of the wall. sensei had dissappeared again but i knew he'd be back in about three minutes with a new task.

i know his schedule like the back of my hand. and about twenty mins later he apppeared holding in his hands two blindfolds

. I groaned

" your not gonna make us fight with those on are you?" anison asked voicing my thoughts.

last time well, i won but we both got stabbed not fun. sensei grinned foolishly at us

"why of course not, im gonna tie this aournd lexis's eyes and wrist" he said lifting up the blind folds to my eyes

"then im going to have her run the brand new obstacle couse while fighting the random dummies that will pop out of nowhere she has to rely in here sixth sense her hearing and resources"

i grimaced "whats anison gonna do" i was hoping hed have to do it too.

"hes going to watch with me he cant do this course he hasnt sucessfully completed the senses training."

i growled as i was put in complete darkness and shoved into a random room. i heard sensei say

"you may begin."

his voice echoed the place must be big. i jumped on the ground hard and them listened to the room i knew how much space i had to work with until i reached my first obstacle.

i took three steps and then jumped i felt the wind of the needle like weapons all around me i dodged them and continued this time running.

was he trying to kill me!?

oops i turned around and caught a kunei jus as it was about to hit me and held it so that i could cut my hands free.

i got it and grinned

" hey thats cheating!" i heard sensei yell

i ignored him and kept on running then i stopped.

did that little booger put a shark tank in here while i was blind folded!!?

i thought i smelled watter and fish. something jumped up and came at me knocked away.

friggin pirahnas!!!!

"FRIGGIN PIRAHNAS SENSEI!!!!!!!!!!!" I Screamed loudly

then throwing the rope that tied me up as far as i could thought i could jump i listened for a splash

when i didnt hear one i sighed and jumped over it and landed neatly then dodged the attacked dummie that tried to push me into the water and kicked it off the stand and then kept going

by the time i was done id broken five more armed dummies and was out for blood the second i heard the bell ring that signified the end of the course i tore off my blind fold and ran to the weapons to grab my samurai sword and ran toward sensei.

"SENSEI YOU ARE GOING TO REGRET PUTTING ME IN A POOL OF PIRAHNAS BLINDFOLDED DO YOU HEAR ME!!!!!"

 he appeared behind me and said "how could i not?"

i swung the blade at him he deflected my attack easiy with his sword and let me fight him until i was all angered out. i stopped with one last low swing and looked down

"are you done?" he asked me softly.

defeated and worn out i nodded and put my sword away.

"well you guys are done now"  he clapped and then went upstairs

anison came behind me and helped me up the stairs. "thanks anison what do you want for dinner?" i asked as we waved goodbye to senseiand headed to the car.

he looked at me with a raised eyebrow"your gonna cook?" 

" i never said that i asked you what you wanted to eat but yeah i might cook?" i never cook but when i do its always delish

" YES!" he said excited " i want homemade macaroni and cheese, fried chicken, greens, and cornbread"

i always knew we were black but i never realized how much steryotypes didnt lie about us when it came to our fave foods.

i laughed at him and took the keys " fine but ill only cook if i get to drive" i still don't have my own car so i have to beg to drive his or offer to cook.

"fine fine now hurry up u have to start cooking"

i grinned at him and got in the car and drove us home.

see i wish i could keep happy moments like this forever but i knew that as soon as i got home the feelingof lonliness would engulf me once more and happiness would be hard to find.
