The Freak

Chapter 4: The "re"capture

As the FCO's elites are gathered to hunt the escaped Freak, they are first given a brief introduction about what happened by Generol Kyshimo. Meanwhile the two guards that let the Freak escape are going on a patrol duty. As one of the guard remember's Kyshimo saying something about needing the elites. And so, the second guard asks - "Who are the elites anyway?" Guard 1 - "Oh right, I forgot you are new here, basically they are Freaks that work for us" Guard 2 - "How many of them are there?" Guard 1 - "Four" Guard 2 - "Just four!?" Guard 1 - "Yeah... There were five of them, but one went missing in their mission, nobody talks about him" Guard 2 - "How come they are so special, I mean why can't we stop the escaped Freak?" Guard 1 - "The way I see it we need to fight fire with fire" Guard 2 - "What are their names?" Guard 1 - "Why are you asking so much about them?" Guard 2 - "Just curious" Guard 1 - "Can't really blame you, since nobody knows or talks much about them, First the strongest of the four is - Nishigo he is like a walking tank, then there is their leader, a cocky hothead that wants to prove how strong he is to everyone, he is called - Arashi, then there are two girls one of them is super perceptive she is called - Yanata, and the last one is named - Sorota" Guard 2 - "And what are their powers?" Guard 1 - "Can't say that I know, since they keep it a secret from everyone, to minimize the information leaks" Guard 2 - "Thats a shame... well, we should probably go back" Guard 1 - "Yeah, it's getting dark" At the time in Kyshimo's office the elites are discussing a plan to catch the Freak. Kyshimo - "This Freak is a level 4 so be carefull, you have permission to kill the Hunters at first sight, I want the Freak captured and brought back by morning, understood?" All of a sudden Abashi stands up and starts complaining - Why the hell are we going after some stray Freak, The Wolfs can handle this, and how the hell is a level 4!? Almost the highiest ranking!" Yanata - Just shut up and do as you're told" Abashi - "What did you just say!?" Kyshimo - "Abashi! You will capture him, or are you disobeying a direct order?" Abashi - "F-Fine, not like I have anything else to..." As the guards head back they spot the elites moving out and one of the guards asks Guard 2 - "Isn't it too late for a mission?" Guard 1 - "Shhh they'll hear you, just keep your mouth shut" While the hunt for the Freak begins the loose Freak is wandering around the forest, near the river he just swam in, as he notices "Someone's following me... Why me?... Who am I?..." All he knows is that he needs to survive. As he starts running he quickly hides behind a tree and waits for the pursuers to show up, and then he sees them, men in military clothes carrying what seems to be guns. The Freak asks himself - "Who... are they?" as they approach the tree where the Freak is hiding he quickly jumps in front of one of the men thats after him and ties the chain he has on his right arm around one of the men, choking him to death as the others shout "Shoot, don't let him escape!" and they start shooting him, he grabs his victims hand gun and kills both of the other men, but not without a cost, he got hit by what seems to be a dart of some sort as he feels getting dizzy he hears voices from further away - "I heard shooting from there!" The Freak stands up, pulls the dart out and starts running, but he doesn't get far, his legs start feeling weak, and he falls over as he is bleeding fron the darts wound he lies on his chest unable to get up, as he sees what seems like a ghost, the same ghost he saw on the bridge, approaching him, the Freak just says "Who... are... you...?" and just before he passes out, with his vision all blurry he sees a girl, carrying a gun and that girl is Yanata, she walks closer to him as only one thouth is in the Freaks head - "I... need to... survive" he sees the ghost looking at him and giving him his hand as the Freak was just about to take his hand Yanata tells on her radio - "This is eagle 1 the Freak is here" something changed in the Freaks mind when he sees that the men that are hunting him are aiming at the girl in front of him and she doesn't have a clue, he gathers his last strengh, with blood dripping from his leg, stands up and runs toward the girl swinging his chain to her, as she tries to block it he quickly takes her gun, stands in front of her, from the side where the men are aiming, takes the girls rifle, aims and instantly shoots to one of the three men, he then says "One" shoots at the second one also killing him - "Two" and tries to aim for the third one, but gets shot in the chest, he spits out blood, and shoots at the last man - "Three" Yanata saw all that and stands there shocked by what she just saw, while the Freak tries to make one more run to escape, he throws the girls rifle back to her, but she grabs the Freaks chain, that is hanging from his right arm, not letting go as the Freak spits more blood and collapses. While Kyshimo asks Yanata on her radio - "What's going on there? Yanata! Yanata do you hear me?!" as she is still speechless.
