Chapter 13: The awakening

Kanoji picks up his sword and stand up facing the so-called Doctor. With a cold expression she says - "If you beat me you can leave and I won't stop you, but if you lose... well... you die" Kanoji looks around to see if there is anything he can use to his advantage, but there are only flowers. Kanoji asks her - "What's up with these flowers anyway?" she responds - "You'll see soon enough" Kanoji starts walking towards her, with his blade in his right hand. He stops as he sees her starting to raise her knife. Kanoji starts runing toward her and swings his sword with everything he has, thinking he can end this fight fast, but she stops his sword with ease. Kanoji falls back a few meters and listens as she says - "Huh...the one I know wouldn't be so weak..." Kanoji doesn't lose focus and tries to cut her again, but this time she cuts him in his left eye, Kanoji drops to his knees, placing his hand on the cut and tries to open his left eye, once he does blood spills out of his left eye and he realises that he can't see anything with his left eye. He stands up and throws his sword right at her, she deflects it and says - "You don't actually think that was gonna stop me do yu..." she gets interruped as Kanoji kicks her in the stomatch, picks up his sword and pierces her right arm with his sword, where she was holding her knife. Blood starts dripping on the floor as she lays down on her chest. Kanoji walks away, but just as he does he feels like a needle pierced his right lung. He touches his chest and sees blood on his hand and a pink leaf in his hand. He turs around and sees all the flower leaves flying in a circle around the woman he just fought against. She stands up and says - "Thank you, for letting me use my ability" her wounds are healed. Kanoji starts spitting blood and tries to run toward the exit, but feels something stuck in his back, it was the leaf fragment that cut him, it was going in deeper and deeper inside his body. He tries to ignore it and doesn't stop running. The exit is just a meter away. He holds out his hand to open the door and gets kicked in his back from behind by the woman. Kanoji feels something is about to come out of his wound, she kicks him again and again until Kanoji drops to his knees and a small metal piece falls out of his wounded lung. He takes a deep breath - somethings wrong, he feels more able to breathe. He breathes out and sees smoke coming out from his mouth. He stands up smiles, takes a deep breath and breathes out at her, fire comes out and burns all the leaves the woman had. Just as he was about finish her off. He hears a loud explosion and sees the ceiling starting to come down above the woman. He grabs her and runs outside. The building is collapsing... She looks at him shocked and cuts Kanoji at his neck with a knife she was hiding. Kanoji lets her go, grabs hold of his neck and sees a huge block of concrete coming down on him from the ceiling. He closes his eyes and accepts faith...
