Chapter 12: The reunion

They stand there, with the three men in front of them and one of them says -"Well, well, well... We meet again tell me how is your leg?" Kanoji immediatly recognizes the man as he was the one that wanted him to see the Doctor, but Kyshimo reacued Kanoji, now Kanoji looks at him angry, wanting to get revenge for what he did and doesn't respond Yanata looks at Kanoji and asks - "Do you know him?" Kanoji doesn't respond but the man does - "Of course he does, we are good friends aren't we?" Kanoji stays silent for a while, but Nishiro breaks the silence as he asks the men - "Who are you? We don't want any unecessary fighting, so let us through" The man answers - "I'm afraid I can't do that, you see we'll be taking your precious Kanoji with us" Nishiro - "Well... I guess it can't be avoided..." then he shouts - "Formation B! Get ready!" Their squad lines up: Arashi in the front Nishiro behind him and Yanata with Sorata get some distance between them, and Kanoji gets pulled back by Yanata, still with his hand bleeding he takes the katana from his back, Yanata aims her rifle at the men, Yanata puts on some strange gloves, Arashi takes out his knife and Niahiro slams his fists together and shouts - "Here we go!" Arashi thinks in his head "This is gonna end in a minute" and runs towards the man that was standing in the middle, as he looked like he was their squad leader, but as he runs toward the man with Nishiro behind him, the man dissapears into thin air and Arashi hears Yanata scream, he and Nishiro look back and see Yanata stabbed in her stomach and Sorata lying uncouncious with Kanoji left to face the man, Kanoji tries to strike the man with his sword, but Nishiro yells - "Don't!" and they get attacked from behind, by the two men they forgot, now while Kanoji tries to strike the man, he dissapears again and reappears behind Kanoji striking him in the neck, knocking him down then the man says - "Well...that was easy" Nishiro and Arashi now trying to defend from the two men can't help Kanoji and the others the man then picks up Kanoji and says - "One, two, were done" they dissapear as Nishiro just says - "Damn it! We were useless, come on let's get grab what we can and head back to base and report this" Arashi grabs Sorata and a few bags, while Nishiro puts Yanata on his shoulder and grabs a crate and they head back to base. Once they get back, Nishiro and Arashi get Sorata and Yanata to the nurses and go tell Kyshimo what happened they go the second floor place the equipment they brought back and go to Kyshimos office, once they are there, Nishiro tries put his hand on the door knob, but the door opens and they see Commander Shiro walking out as he says - "Once I find out why he is here I'll come back" he sees Nishiro and Kanoji and says - "Excuse me" and walks off. Nishiro comes in to Kyshimos office, he sees that Kyshimo is reading some documents and says - "They got him" Kyshimo doesn't look surprised and just says - "They did huh?" and continues reading Nishiro - "Sir, didn't you hear what I said? The got him, they took Kanoji" Kyshimo - "Oh I heard you the first time" and once more reads as if nothing happenned. Arashi asks - "Sir, what do we do?" Kyshimo - "What can we do? We don't know where they took him, so just go write a report and then we'll see" Nishiro - "So, we are just gonna wait and do nothing?" - he slams the table - "Sir!" Kyshimo just waves his hand and Nishiro bardges out of Kyshimos office. Arashi asks - "What do we do now?" Nishiro -"Write a report" and so, they go write the report. *Enemy hideout* Kanoji opens his eyes, he looks around and sees himself tied to a chair in an empty room with one door, no windows, one light above him, and a chair infront of him, the room isn't small it's enough to fit a few cars. He looks and sees that his hand is patched up, and tries to get loose from the rope holding him, but it's no use, he sees a lot of flowers. After a few minutes the door opens and a woman walks in, she sits down on the chair, infront of Kanoji and smiles then says - "My, how you've changed..." Kanoji looks confused and asks the woman - "Who are you?" the woman - "Come on, don't you remember me? From the facility? Back when we were only kids" Kanoji - "The facility?... I don't...remember..." Kanoji gets a flashback of him being about 16 years old, he and a girl are sitting on an edge of a cliff, behind them is a field full of flowers both of them looking into the sunset, , then he sees blood on the flowers, but he can't make out the girls face and a girl .The woman says - "Seems like I need to introduce myself, I am the so-called Doctor" Kanoji - "The Doctor?" The Doctor - "Don't you remember who saved you?" Kanoji - "I don't" the woman slaps him on the cheek and says - "Then I'll make you remeber" Kanoji spits out blood and says with a happy grin on his face - "How?" The Doctor - "You'll see..." The woman gets up from the chair walks up to Kanoji and starts kissing him, he immediatly moves his head and she kicks him in the face, Kanoji spits out blood, the woman walks out of the room. A long time has passef and Kanoji still sits in his chair, waiting to see what will happen and then he sees him in the corner of the room - the white ghost, he walks towards Kanoji and points his finger to his right palm. Kanoji doesn't understand and looks at his own hand, there he sees a name just above the patched wound, hardly, but visible enough to make out a name. Kanoji reads it out loud - "Mi...ka..." just as he reads it the door opens and Kanoji sees the same woman with tears in her eyes as she says - "You...you...remebered?" she runs towards Kanoji happy and hugs him, but Kanoji just says with a cold expression - "Get off" she looks shocked, but tries to hug him once more, but Kanoji says - "I said...get off!" she lets him go and walks out of the room crying she gets back a few moments later with a knife and Kanojis sword in her hand, she walks toward Kanoji, but Kanoji isn't scared, the woman cuts off the straps that are holding him and stands up, she throws Kanoji his sword and says - "Now... I'll find out if you're really him..."
