Chapter5

A/N: waheyyyy guys....😔 I'm sick !! And it's terrible. So lets just get to the story ! God i hate being sick! Here's chap5.....

Destiny's POV:

"Dess...wake up!!!" I heard Kate screaming.

"Just let me sleep I'm tired" i said snuggling  under the sheets. I'm still  tired after cleaning  up all the mess we created yesterday.

"This is very important . Wake up. It's an emergency !!!" Kate's voice  had panic in it.

Ok so now I'm concerned.

"What's wrong? Are you ok?" I said sitting  up on the bed.
I looked up....my vision  was  a bit blurry as i had just got up from deep sleep.

My vision  slowly  cleared. I looked  at Kate carefully  to see if something  was wrong.

But.....she seemed perfectly  fine.
Was there something  else? Was she......oh my God...no.....just don't even think of it.

"I.....i....." she struggled  for words. 
This is getting  serious.

"Seriously, are you ok? Don't panic just take a deep breath  and tell me." I said  as she sat near me on the bed.

"I...i....." she stammered . She was on the verge of breaking  out.

"It's ok....calm down . Take your time. I'm there for you.  And  trust me whatever  the problem  is we are going  to solve it. You don't have to face it alone " i said  trying  to calm her down.

"It's that....my...." she was very nervous.

"Your ......??" I asked hoping  she would give an answer.

"My.... my curler isn't working!!!!! what am i gonna do....!" She said. 

😒😒😒😒😠😠😠😠😠😠😑😑😑

I slowly took my hand from her shoulder  and yelled out " Girl get off my bed! Now!!!"

"Seriously!
Like seriously? ???
All this drama coz your curler didn't work???" I shouted out.

"I thought you said we can solve it!" She said quoting my statement.

"Just get away from here before  i burn that hair of yours " i said pissed and fell back to my bed.
God i was tired.

Seconds later i heard sobs.
I got up to see Kate sobbing  her eyes out.
God what's her problem.
She needs help. But i was her friend after all and i promised to stick up no matter what.

And i won't break my promise. So i gotta help her.

I slowly slid out of my bed . My head ached but i didn't  care. I went closer to her. Her eyes were so red.

Why would anyone cry this bad for a curler!!!!  I didn't get it.

"Hey you....get your ass up and we're gonna fix this" i said and saw that her face brighten up a bit.

"And by the way...why are you so desperate to curl your hair?? I see that you're all dressed up. Going somewhere? " i asked noticing  that she was fully dressed up . Well here eye make up was messed up but where was she going this early?  Wait...early? ? What's the time?
I turned my phone on to see the time.

"11?? " i screamed out.

"Huh?" Kate asked not understand  why i said a random number all of a sudden.

"It's 11. I slept this long??" I asked not able to believe  myself.
I must have been too tried.

"Yeah you were pretty tired yesterday.  So i didn't want to wake you up." She said while i gave her a 'really?'look .

"I mean...until now" she said covering  it up.

"And also i made breakfast so that you don't have to cook . I knew you'd be too tried  to cook." She said with concern.

I smiled.

We were not the same character. We did not have similar  tastes. We don't do similar things. We had two completely  opposite lifestyle. 

And yet.......

We know....we can count on each other.
We cared for each other. No matter how much we fight. We kept our promises. We trust each other. After all we were

          Best friends!

"Aww...thank you. I love you so much " i said hugging  her from behind.

"Oh c'mon . You making  me a third person now?" She said mocking.

"Fine I'll take it back. And again...what's so special about today? " i said bringing  back the main question.

"I wanted to tell you yesterday  but you were dead asleep" she said.
I know.... i have no idea what happens when I'm asleep. There could be a world war 3 going on and I'd still sleep.

"Yeah i was tired af! And...." i said waiting  to hear the 'big' reason.

"Jase texted yesterday  night....and he told me it was going  to be a big day today.  He said it would be unforgettable and stuff.  You know what i mean...?" She said hoping i get it.

I thought  for a while and then it hit me...

"Oh my.....gawd!!!! Really girl????" I said cheerfully.

"Yeah..." she said blushing "finally he is going to ask the big question "

"Kaitlin Williams... will you marry me?" I said trying  to mimic  a proposal im Jase's voice.

"Haha...that was so bad. Don't do it again." She said laughing.

"That was good ok? Ok maybe not that good." I said joining the laughter.

"Ok now....why hair curling? " i asked hoping she gives me a valid reason.

"He wants to see me just as i looked on the day we first met. Don't you remember how i looked on the first day of college?" She said while i tried to recollect.

"Well....why don't you just tell him that the hair_ruining_thing is broken? " i said .

"No...i want this to be perfect. I don't  wanna let him down." She said her eyes filling  up with love.

"God you guys are so cute." I said with a bit of envy since my life was all screwed up.

"Fine let's fix you up" i said.

"Umm....but why don't you go brush first " she said indicating  that i had bad breath.

"Oh yeah....let me do that first" i said checking  my phone to see the time again . Just then  my phone beeped

A/N: That's it for chapter 5. But don't  you worry . I'll be updating  the next chapter  now . Coz my final exams are finally  over and yes I'm sick but imma do it for you guys anyway.
