Chapter 38

Destiny's POV:

Harry hasn't called since yesterday night. Well it's just  10 in the morning but i really wanted to hear his voice. He wasn't picking up either.

Let's just say LOVE is taking it's toll on me.

Kate had gone to pick Jase from the airport and so I decided to go meet Harry. But I had to eat first. So I prepared something quick and ate quickly.

Harry's POV:

"What do you mean stay away?" I asked Alice.

I was very upset and things haven't been going well between me and Alice.

"Don't you understand Harold! How many times do I have to tell you!"

"How many times do I have to tell you that I don't care about myself. She is worth everything. After all these years. Don't you know? "

"We can find another person. But if you die?"

"Haven't I  been through enough? Do you honestly not care? "

"I do care. That's why I want you to live. Isn't that Caring?"

"Well then what about her? You are not supposed to be partial. You're supposed to help right? Did you forget who you are?"

"I'm here to help you. I'm risking everything for you..... You very well know that I can end up like you too Harold. Except that there won't be anyone to help me!"

"Whatever Alice.... I'm not ready for this"

"She's gotta know someday. You can't hide it forever"

"Not now. She cannot know this. I choose to hide it from her"

Destiny's POV:

I went to see Harry as I had nothing much to do at home. But I did not except to hear this

"She cannot know this. I choose to hide it from her"

"Hide what Harry ?" I asked as I walked in curiously.

I was pretty sure Jase wasn't home. Who was he talking to ?

"De.....esy......I....I can explain" he stuttered. 

I wondered why he was so nervous but on the left corner was something I never imagined to see in a million years.

My head spined around. Something kept pulling me down. I tried hard to resist. My vision was blurred. I couldn't see anything but a bright light blinding me. When i  couldn't hold on anymore I let gravity take it's toll. I fell to the ground with a thud.
