Chapter 14

Before i start....let's just take a moment  to admire this-------->>  work of art!!❤❤❤ I don't know who did that  but it's awesome.   Sorry for the late update but here's chapter 14....

Destiny's POV:

"So......." Harry  said after a minute  of silence.  I hadn't spoken  a word  so far coz i was not in a good mood.

"So?" I asked back .

"Pretty cool friends you've  got" he said  flashing  a smile.

"You never spoke much to them" i said still being somewhat  moody.

"Oh i did. I felt bad about what i did after you left and so i gathered the courage  to talk to them.  They are really nice." He said .

"Really?" I asked  with a questioning  look on my face.

I didn't know whether  to believe  him or not. He never spoke when i compelled him and now he's friends  with them?

"Look at this if you don't believe " he said taking out his phone and showed me a picture of him with all my friends.

Wtf!!!! I am gone for one minute and all this happened?  Damn Harry.

"Wow...that makes me so happy coz I'm not there  in it. You enjoy yourself in my absence  huh? " i said sounding  a little upset.

"Hey no......it's  never too late. Let's take a picture  now " he suggested.

"Yeah sure,why not?" I said correcting  my hair quickly.

You know girls when it comes to selfies😉.

We took a few pictures of which i guess one or two looked good.

I'm  the kind of person  who would  take 50 selfies and delete 49 of them coz i don't like it and finally  delete  the one left in the next 30 seconds  . The perfect  selfie is never easy. Literally!

Kate was just like me in this case except  that she would take a 1000!!!

I looked at the picture  of Harry and my friends  for a while.  I hadn't got the chance to take even a picture  with my friends because of that moron! I missed it and i felt terrible.

"Can you tell me their names  one more time.  I'm  kinda confused" he said looking  at the picture.

"Ok....well this is Claire  and that is Brent aka Claire's Bf"

"This is Sophia and  that is Aaron aka Sophia's bf. That's  it. And you know the other two. It's just 4 names Harry " i said mockingly.

"I wasn't really  attentive during the intro session.  Sorry ma'am." He said apologetically.

"So how did you all get together?  A strong squad you got there " he complemented.

"I guess it all started at high school"

" Claire and i were initially not friends  but once we got to know each other  we became best buddies. She is very close to me like Kate and we have very similar  tastes in literally  everything.  She could finish my sentence. She can understand  me just by looking  into my eyes."

"Sophia  and i studied in the same school since grade3 but it took us quite some time to know her. And it was at high school that we actually  became  friends.  Again  we have similar tastes in certain  things and we just get well together and so Kate ,Claire, Sophia and I became best friends."

I took a pause.

"What was most important  was that we always stuck together  no matter what happened  or no matter how much we fought.  We had mutual trust and understanding. "

"And the boys? " Harry asked. 

Oops...i forgot them.

"Well the boys  were with us since high school too. It actually  started with Kate. As i said Jase , Kate and i studied in the same class. And then Kate and Jase fell in love. Aaron and Brent were Jase's friends and so we got to know each other and that's how our squad was formed."

"And they fell in love?" Harry asked curiously.

"Yeah...it wasn't until college. Thanks to high  school break which helped us discover  our feelings  for each other " i said laughing.

"Ours?" Harry asked.

I chose not to answer that question.

"Umm.....yeah and that's how they  fell in love ."

"It might sound dumb but the guys are so protective  over us . And we girls were badass too. You know all i ever remember  about high school was getting  detention almost every week "

"You were a naughty  little brat then? " Harry said winking.

"Yeah...all of us were. Those were the days you know. All those silly fights, laughter,  punishments, pranks,teachers, PE classes, Canteen, prom, the games.....i miss all of it. How i wish i could turn back time......"

"Yeah....we all do" Harry said beaming  at the sky.

We kept walking  and the  sunset looked lovely.  I was in  my own thoughts .

"Umm....do you mind if i ask you something? " Harry asked in a low voice.

"Yeah Harry. What is it?" I asked curiously  for he seemed serious.

"Who was he?"

"He who?" I asked .

"The guy who spoke  to you after to you left the pool. You don't have to tell me if it is too personal" he said in a nice manner.

"I just told you the story of my life.  Why would i hide this one?  That was Ethan. My ex" i said calmly.

I didn't want to tell this to him. It was the same during  the other day too. I didn't want to tell him about  my childhood  but for some reason  i did. And i feel that it is right to tell him about Ethan too. I just don't know  why. It's  just that looking  into his eyes  he kind of lures me to tell him everything. Was he a magician? I wonder.

Harry momentarily  stood shocked  at my words and quickly  recovered.

"Ex?" He aksed surprised.
