Destiny's POV:

"Come Harry" i said pulling  him.  I knew he was not interested  but you can't judge my friends unless you know them.

They are the best people on earth and i literally  wouldn't have survived  high school or college  without them.

Moreover  Harry didn't know many  people since he just moved in. It might be a nice change for
him.

"Hey guys! Look who's here today.  He is a very special guest so be nice ok?" I said as my friends  gathered around me.

"This is Harry Styles . He's moved in with Jase and is  practically  my neighbour . And he is also a very good friend of mine" i said with honour.

Harry smiled at me but didn't look at anyone else. Was he shy?

"Ok so here we go. First....this is my very best friend Claire and this is Brent . Claire's  bf. " Claire and Brent  came forward  and shook hands with harry.

"Nice to meet you. " Harry said sweetly.

"This is my next best friend  Sophia and  this is her bf Aaron" i said pointing  to the next couple.

Yes....i am the only one who is single. Duh!

"You sure got  yourself  into trouble  Harry" Aaron said with a laugh.

Wait....! Was that sarcasm in his voice?

"Shut it Aaron. Who  helped you get your girl huh?" I said in defence.

"What?" Sophia asked surprised.

"Umm....nothing.  she's  just kidding "Aaron said nervously.

"Oh am i Aaron?" I questioned  him with a smirk on my face.

His face bore a 'please save me' expression .

"Hmm....I'm  trouble  huh?" I asked still smirking.

"Oh no no...just kidding . She's  the nicest girl. But definitely not  as nice as you  honey " he said putting  an arm around  Sophia.

He surely knows  how to play it right.

"Of course you know Jase and Kate. So that's the 7 of us. Well it used to be 8.And that's it." i said to Harry who seemed relieved.

Why was he nervous  to meet people.

"I'll just  get a drink for myself and be back " Harry said.

"Fine. But don't disappear this time ok?" I said coz  i didn't want it to happen again.

"Oh sure" he said flashing  a smile and disappeared  into the crowd.

Meanwhile  Jase and Kate joined  us and our group was complete. It really  was like a reunion. It's been many months  since we've been together. 

I wish Harry was here too. I looked out for him. He was talking  to one of Jase's friend.

I think in a way it is better that Harry isn't here too. Coz we were going  to be talking  about  our past and stuff which he wouldn't understand  and he might  feel left alone. I didn't want him to feel that way. I just want him to be happy.

He keeps smiling  everytime  he sees me but i could tell you he wasn't smiling  from his heart.
He has something inside if him. Something  that he never shares.  Something  i wish i knew but didn't have the right to.

"Hey? You ok? You zoned out." Kate asked concerned.

"Oh yeah yeah. I'm fine" i said  sipping  the drink that Jase got for me.

"Remember when we scared the hell out of Ms.Audrey our English  teacher with  a fake snake in high school," asked Claire .

"I do remember  getting  detention  " said Brent.

"But it was not as worse as that Halloween  prank that we pulled on our PE teacher" said Sophia.

"Omg! That was the best of all!" Said Kate enthusiastically.

"Whoa  guys the best was when we won the cup. The look on the opponents  face! Priceless " said Aaron which made the guys spring up into a conversation.

Guys....always about  the games! Pfft!

"Right! Never  mess with the Rockers! " Jase shouted out for nearly  half the crowd turned around.

"Sorry guys. Carry on." Kate apologized.

And for a while we talked about  how amazing  school life was and all the times we ended up being punished.

We were brats and  needless to say we spent half of our school time in the principal's  office.

It's been a while and still Harry wasn't here so i excused myself and went out in search of Harry.

I couldn't  locate him in the crowd with the loud music.  After around  5minutes of dodging  myself through  the crowd  i finally spotted Harry  near the pool.

"Hey.....what you doing here?" I asked Harry .

"Oh nothing " he said in a low voice. 

"You know Mr.Styles you suck  at lying" i said sitting  next to  him.

"Only to you " he said  looking  at the clear blue water in the pool.

Only me? What did he mean?

"Ok fine let's  sit here for a while then" i said making  myself comfortable.

"No your friends  are waiting  for you.  You must go to them. You guys are meeting after a long time." He said still looking  away.

"What do you mean Harry?" I asked confused.

"Look. You are my friend too just like them. And i will not leave you alone here. And as i said the other night   i care for you ok?" I said placing  my hand oh his shoulders .

He pushed my hand away.

"What is wrong with you  Harry? Why are you behaving  weird? " i asked in a loud tone.

"I don't want you to be bothered  about me. Go to your friends  they are expecting  you" he said still looking  at the pool.

This was making me really  mad.
I tried being nice.

"You know what? I'm sorry for caring  and being concerned about  you.  You  can sit there staring at that pool the whole evening " i said in harsh tone  as i got up to leave .

I didn't turn around. But i was hoping  that he would stop me . But no.... he never said a word.

So i decided to leave  him and go to my friends.

Amongst all this madness on my way was another  big obstacle.

Before me was a person with an evil smirk on his face.
A face  that  i never wanted to see again. A face which once made me smile but now makes me sick.

I said in utter disgust and hatred.........

"Ethan?"

A/N: *drumroll* i know there are a lot of new characters  coming  in but please  try to keep up with them. Hope you liked the chapter.  I will probably  update  2 chapters tomorrow  or atleast1.....😊
