Oliver is still holding my hand as we sit Down and order or food. We decided to sit on the same side of the booth. And Val got an über to take her to my house.
"So... Oliver do you have something to say to Ava?" Mrs.Karry says.
"Yeah......I'm sorry for telling you to abort the baby.... And I don't to be a no show...I want to be a father.....I want you to be my friend, lover, mine forever" he gets a small ring box out. "Will you marry me Ava Maree Anderson?"
All I can do is sit there and shake my head no.
"I don't want to marry you out of wedlock, I love you, but I don't want to get married just because you knocked me up....." I stand up and grab my purse, I'm about to walk out the door when he pulls on my arm.
"How about instead of an engagement ring, we make it a promise ring. A promise to each other that well be there for each other, and love each other. And when the time is right, we'll get engaged"he says twirling the box in his hands anxiously.
"That sounds perfect" I say. He puts the ring on my finger and I kiss him on the cheek. Then head out the door.
"Where are you going we didn't have lunch?"
"Oh I'm craving ice cream so I'll just stop at the store and eat ice cream for lunch" with that I walk out the door to my car.
When I get home I go up to my room and sit on the bed. Starting at the ring. The small diamond rock distracting me from everything else. I start to feels tears run down my cheeks. Fucking hormones.
For the rest of the day I just lay down in bed and sleep, watch tv, and eat.
What if this baby is a good mistake instead of a bad one.
