A very pregnant birthday

One month later

Today is September 1st. MY BIRTHDAY!
I'm turning 17 and I can't drink because I'm 51/2 months pregnant. Last year at this time I was probably already drunk at grandmas beach house in myrtle.

It's only 2 pm and Jessica and I are on the couch watching labor documentaries. She's only 3 months along and has a big bump, well not really big but bigger than mines was.

"So do want the epidural or you still want a natural birth?" Jessica asks me.

"I definitely need the epidural.....if gas makes my cry then imagine what a contraction is going to do to me?" I stand up to go to the bathroom.

When I come back Jessica has her purse on her arm, her keys, and a jar of pickles.

"Get your shoes on...there must be something you want to do today other than watch women give birth" she says getting my flip flops and helping me put them on.

"Well I do want ice cream, and I do really want to go to the trampoline park with Eva, Val, and Nathan....but maybe just Eva." I say, ever since school started Val has been sleeping around and hasn't really been to good of a friend.

But Eva has, we go to the mall and look at baby things together and things we would want to wear after we get our body's back.

"Ok then text Eva and ask her to come with us" Jessica says.

"Ok...I deserve this...how about we go get manicures, let our swollen feet get a break" I pout to make my point.

Me- hey Eva. Want me and Jess to come pick you up, we're going to get ice cream and manicures for my birthday.

Eva- I would love to, I need it my feet are so swollen...Happy birthday btw

Me- thanks well be there in a few minutes

Jessica and I get in the car and drive to Eva's. Turns out her mom lives down the road from us so we ended up honking the horn to get her out here.

"Hey....hi Mrs.jess thank you guys so much." She says. She's always so nice.

"No problem, just three pregnant ladies going out on he town" I say, we all laugh ant how corny I am.

"Are you having a baby shower?" Eva asks me.

"I don't know. Haven't really given it enough thought,  I guess I would like to have one" I say.

"How about we have a conjoined one.....mine is next month and this would be and amazing birthday present for you!!! Please let me have a shower with you please???" She begs.

"I would love to throw both of you a shower at the beach house...save some money for your guys' present" Jessica says.

"Okay I would be so thankful to have a conjoined shower with you....and for you to throw me and Eva a shower" I say.

We get some ice cream then go to the nail salon. We all get very relaxed while our feet soak in the warm water.

Later around 5 pm we go to dinner at the steak house. The hostess takes me to a table where Nathan is sitting with a bunch of roses. My dad, mom, Andrew, Justin, Francis, Abby,  and Val are all around the table. There are three empty seats for Jessica, Eva, and I.

"You guys shouldn't have....this means so much to me." I sit down and order.

"So have you finally decided on a name or are you still leaning towards" Dad says.

"Yes I have, his name is Brody Jenson Anderson....he is most likely going to be a Capricorn"  I say looking down as my belly starts to move around.

"I'd like to raise a glass to Brody!" Andrew says.

"To Brody!" We all say and raise our glasses.

"Your going to be an amazing mom" Nathan says as he hugs me.

"Thanks" I bite my lip as I blush.

"This is so much better than just stayed at your grandmas for your birthday isn't it?!" Mom says.

"Yup......" I look at Val as she looks at me. Mom has no idea that we would get waisted.

For the rest of the nights it's just jokes and funny stories about me. Some where about Brody.

I guess now if I where to change my mind at the last minute it'd be harder to give him up.
