Chapter Nine

Luca gasped and dropped his pencil onto his lap in shock. "You got a date?!When you told me about you when you were little, I thought you would never get one!" Lovino put a hand over his heart and faked a pained expression. "That hurt Luca! I always got dates! How do you think you came into the world, eh? If I didn't date your Daddy you wouldn't be here!"

"The stork wouldn't have brought me here on yours and daddy's door?"

"Nope." Lovino replied and tickled his son's belly. "You would still be at the baby making factory!" He used the bullshit story his lover would have wanted to use on Luca. Lovino wanted to follow their plans that had been made way before Luca was born. "Papa stop!" Luca laughed as he tried to avoid Lovino's tickle fingers. Lovino pulled his hands away from Luca's little tummy and smiled. "So, have any guesses so far?"

"Yes! I do have guesses, but you ruined them by adding another person." Luca added another slot in his chart and started to write things down about the newest option he could guess was his daddy. "You made it even harder to find out who it is." The older Italian rolled his eyes and held in a smile. "It just makes it more interesting! Besides, my story isn't even finished yet!"

"How long is it gunna last?"

"Until you can find out who your Daddy is." Lovino's reply earned a groan from Luca as he closed his notebook and threw it at Lovino. "This is hard."

"It'll be more obvious when you keep listening to my storytelling." Lovino caught the book and put it back on Luca's lap. "Don't worry," He gazed over at Luca's action figures and smiled. "I promise you, you'll understand."

"Make it more obvious, Papa!"

"No." Lovino replied and rolled his eyes. "It's already easy."
