Facing The Ex

The movie was great, like any other Disney movie ever. All of the jokes and action in the right places, a hint of playful romance. Asher and I's hands danced together the whole time, intertwining than not, back and forth, a playful game.
We leave the theater, and I drop his hand. I look away, hiding my face as I see him. Adam. It hurts even more to see Kayla pulling her flirty move on him. Asher notices, and then we're noticed by them.
I look hurt, Adam looks hurt, Kayla looks sorry, and Asher looks confused. "My best friend and my ex." I mutter quietly. They walk up to us.
Asher and Adam suddenly have a tense mood between them, angry at each other. "You caused this." Adam accuses Asher. "Sorry, I just ran into him." Kayla says to me. She was flirting before. I roll my eyes, and turn away from her, looking at the boys.
They lock eyes, and I interrupt, to keep from a fight. "Asher, we need to go." I tug his arm in the direction of the door. He lets me, not dropping the eye lock with Adam. My attempt fails miserably.
"Why are you with her? Together I presume?" Adam asks angrily and sadly at the same time. Asher stops, his jaw twitches. "No. I'm not. I'm here to help her cheer up after a day of trying to get over you." Asher bites his lip, hard. Oh, God. Why did he just say that?
Adam looks surprised, "Wait really?" His eyes sparkle with hope, "I assumed.." I shake my head in sync with Asher as we turn away together and leave.
   --------------------------------------
I get home, Asher's arm around my waist. I pull away after we get to my room. He goes to get closer to me, to put his arm around me again, but I pull away. He looks at me, a puzzling expression covering his face.
"Please stop." I say looking up at him. He nods in understanding and then we lay next to each other on my bed, staring at the ceiling. Asher smirks, "I'm so glad that you were late to English class." I say, "Wow, how sweet." He turns to me, "I know." He sticks his tongue out at me, scrunching his eyes. I pout, sad to be away from those baby blues.
I smile as he opens them again. I make a weird face at him and he giggles. My heart swells- a real giggle. The cute, amazing giggle. Snap out of it.
Asher catches me blushing wildly, and takes advantage of it. He smirks, saying, "Do you have a map? I'm getting lost in your eyes." As he stares into my eyes, his cocky face overwhelming, I instantly think of a comeback. "Sorry, no map. So why don't you just get lost?" I grin sarcastically. "Dayum." He hoots, "But maybe I will get lost. Staring at that body you got." I roll my eyes again, "Look for yourself, because that's about as far as you'll get."
"I'd beg to differ." He says, as he wrapped his arms around me. He pulls me closer to him, and then turns me over, so that we're in the same exactly position from cuddling. He holds my hand, and draws me closer and closer. I jump up. "Keep begging." I tease, pushing him off the bed with a thud. He gets up, "You'll regret that, SarBear." He smirks, lifting me over his shoulders and I thrash around, looking to grab something.
He walks me down stairs as I scream, and he puts me on the couch . He begins to tickle me as I laugh hysterically.
This continues on for awhile, wrestling and laughing. I completely forgot about my earlier question in the car.
---------------------------
My alarm blares. I shut it off and roll out of bed, about to get ready and face school. I eat, and then brush my hair and teeth. I quickly change into denim shorts and a pink tank top with a flowing bottom after studying the nice day. I slip on sanders and add a cute flower clip into my hair. Putting in my contacts, I sling my book bag over my shoulder and leave to go to school.
I see Asher, and I climb into my car, him climbing into the passenger seat. He turns to me, eyes brighter than ever, and says with a smirk, "Hey gorgeous." I roll my eyes, "I wish I could say it back to you but you don't meet the standards." He pretends to be hurt, having me laughing as I Start driving.
When I get home, Asher rushes to the door ahead of me, unlocking it. "Where'd you get the key?" I ask him curiously. "Oh I made one."'he says. I'm shocked, but I ignore it and run ahead of him into my house.
I see my mom in the kitchen, making Mac and cheese. "Oh, mom, I thought you were on the trip." I say awkwardly, glancing at Asher who has his arm around my waist. "It ended early, sweetheart." She smiles, glancing up to see Asher. She looks shocked.
"A boy? The only boy I've ever seen you speak to is Adam." she says, confusion writ all over her face. Shoot, she doesn't know. "Adam and I broke up." I say. "Oh." she simply states, raising her eyebrows at Asher. "Oh, Asher this is mom. Mom, this is Asher." I introduce. They say a few rough greetings and shake hands.
We head upstairs, my mom calling after us to leave the door open. If only she knew how many times he had already been in my room.
He smirks as we lay next to each other on my bed. He says that same cheesy pickup line he's used a million times, this time whispering it into my ear, making my hairs stand up.
"Are you from Heaven? Because you sure look like an angel." he smirks. "Are you from Hell? Because you sure look like it." I snap back. He sits up, "Dayum gurl." he purrs looking down at me. I roll my eyes and sit up next to him.
He glances across my room to see my pink lacy bra hanging from my dresser. God, I really need to start cleaning my room. He smirks mischievously as I shield his eyes with my hand. I roll my eyes as he pulls his hand away.
Then he says something I don't expect, "How do you feel about the math final tomorrow?" He asks. God, the math final!! I was too caught up in boyfriends and cuddles and breakups to remember!! I face palm, and he stares at me, amused.
"I forgot!" I finally gasp as I jump up and grab my textbook. I open my notebook, too, and start reading my notes over. "Were you too caught up in my dreamy eyes, Jay?" He smirks at me. Yes. "God, not the time for jokes! I have to study. I don't mess around with grades." I snap, yelling harshly. With that, he huffs quietly and climbs out my window.

The Monday morning kills me. I passed out studying all night, cramming all of the information into my mind. My head hurts from all of the caffeine I had consumed over the night.
I see that my alarm has been going off for twenty minutes. Shoot. I quickly get dressed, I brush my teeth, run a brush through my hair, and throw on a tee shirt and jeans. Putting on my vans, I grab an apple and my backpack and run out the door.
Asher isn't there. He doesn't wait to go to school with me.
I shrug it off, figuring he's a bit annoyed from me being so rude the day before. I hop in my car and speed to school, as I eat my apple.

I wake up. I was mad at her for yelling at me, but I'm not anymore. I glance to see that I'm running late. I quickly get ready, and rush out the door.
My motorcycle won't start. My baby, my sweet baby, won't start. I grab my keys to my mustang and zoom out of my driveway, hoping to get to SarBear in time.
I arrive at her house, and her car isn't there. My heart drops. She didn't wait for me.
Heartbroken, I zoom to school, praying not to be late.
