It's been a couple days since I've seen Cole and I'm not as on edge as I was when he first saw me at the diner, it seems like he found something better to do.
Keira approached me just outside the gym in her netball gear with a worried look on her face.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"It's the boxing club, they've done it again. We told them that we use it certain days and they use it on others but they're just not listening" she huffed.
No wonder she looked worried, Keira has always taken her Netball training very seriously and these guys keep messing it up.
"Alright, I'll see what I can do about it"
"I don't know what she's been telling you but- Oh, its you Capitain" the Boxing club President relaxed his attitude the second he saw me.
"We have discussed this before, both of your teams need to divide your time in the gym equally" I stated.
"The Boxing Club has it two days a week and the Netball club has it for another to and the left over day is for the school's use. Do you have any problems with this?" I asked.
"Of course not, Captain" The Boxing Club President replied, mumbling something under his breath and returning to the gym.
Keira sighed in relief.
"Ugh, they never listen to me. I said exactly the same thing but they stayed there anyway, I didn't mean to waste your time"
"No it's fine, he just thinks he can win every argument with his scary face" I laughed and watched the Boxing Club leave the gym.
"So, when are you going to tell me why Heartless-Man has been staring at you this whole time?" Keira beamed.
"Who?" I raised my brow.
"It's what the girls call Cole Hartman. Get it, because he doesn't have a heart?" she hinted over at where Cole was standing.
"Yes, very funny Keira" I sighed and looked at Cole but he was already staring at me.
He stayed there, just staring.
"What?" I finally called out.
He continued staring.
"Bleeeeeeh" he sounded as he stuck his tongue out at me then walked off.
"What is wrong with him" I face palmed.
Really? He knows my biggest secret and then I don't see him for days but remain on edge because I'm waiting for him to tell the whole school and then he does that! He's probably just taunting me, dragging out the anxiety for the final blow. Of all people why did it have to be Cole that found out?
"Lailah?" Kiera clicked her hands in my face.
"Sorry you just spaced out again, do you know Cole?"
"No, I just tell him to be nicer to girls feelings if I catch him 'breaking' girls hearts" I replied.
"Why? I don't think he can be bothered too. He's been like that since the start of high school I don't think he'll ever change. He is so popular here, he can't be bothered to take the time to get a girlfriend" she explained.
"Funny, Josh said something like that the other day at the meeting room" I wondered.
"It's the truth"
