I wiped the sweat that dripped down my forehead as I danced in the middle of a humongous crowd. I knew I should've brought extra clothes to change into. This dress and heels were starting to get extremely uncomfortable.

The reception hall was a beautifully decorated room inside of the hotel. It was filled with tables of 5 with maroon table cloth. I was placed on the table with Calum, Mali, Kylie, and sadly, Arianne.

After dancing for nearly an hour with my mom, I walked back to our table and flopped down into one of the comfortable cushioned seats.

"Who knew dancing could be so tiring" I sipped on my water still trying to catch my breath. I was just about ready to go back into the dance floor, when I realized the song has switched.

The song now was a slow song, all the couples gathered and danced gracefully on the dance floor. I immediately turned to Calum ready to pull him to the dance floor when I realized he was gone. I looked back at the dance floor to see him and Arianne dancing.

She smiled into his chest as he held the small of her back, the glided across the dance floor perfectly. I tried my best not to cry, but I couldn't help it.

A tear slowly ran down my cheek.

A finger gently swiped across my cheek wiping my tears. I looked up  to see a extremely good looking guy staring down at me. His hair was blonde, and was in a quiff. "Don't cry love" he gently smiled.

I smiled back at him, "I'm Haylee" I said.

"I'm Luke, wanna dance ?" he asked. I gladly took his hand and followed him to the dance floor. I placed my right hand in his, and my left hand on his shoulder.

I awkwardly stood there, trying my best to keep our bodies as far away from each other as possible. He chuckled before wrapping his free arm around my lower back, pulling me in so that our bodies were touching.

I smiled before resting my head on his shoulder, we danced perfectly until the song ended. We parted and he stared me in the eyes. "Hey I'll go get us some drinks, meet me back at your table ?" he smiled.

I nodded and walked back to our table, sinking in my seat as my cheeks became red. "Aw, Haylee's got a crush" Kylie teased.

"No I don't !" I defended. "Who was that anyways?" Kylie asked, "His name's Luke" I smiled.

"What are we talking about" Calum and Arianne joined in on the conversation as they all gathered around the table. "Haylee's got a crush" Kylie giggled.

Calum's eyes widened and he looked at me, "AWH HOW CUTE!" he screamed. "Guys I don't like him, he just saw that I was alone and asked me if I wanted to dance, that's all!" I defended. "Whatever you say" Calum giggled.

The rest of the night went by pretty fast, dancing, eating, laughing, repeat. Luke never showed up with that drink, after the dance, he disappeared.

The night was now coming to an end, Arianne had to get home and the reception hall was being cleaned up. "Hey Haylee, me and Josh are staying in the pent house at the top floor, booked an extra room for you and your friends, we'll see you in the morning!" my mom smiled as she gave me the key.

Josh picked her up bridal style and they walked down the hall. God knows what they're gonna do in that room.

Calum was sleeping against the table, his light snores making me laugh. "Hey Calum" I lightly shook his arm. He tilted his head up and stretched, "What time is it? Where is everyone?" he asked, "Your family left, they probably thought you were staying here with me at the hotel, but you're welcome to" I said.

He nodded and we both walked up to our room, I opened the door and realized my mom only booked the one bedroom. That means me and Calum had to share beds. Why am I so worked up about it? we've slept in the same bed together before, we're best friends for crying out loud. My mom had brought my suitcase to me and rested it by the door. She wished me goodnight before running back upstairs with Josh.

Calum had gotten into the shower first, taking no longer than 10 minutes, thankfully.

He came out in just a towel around his waist, I looked down at my hands to keep myself from staring, "I have no clothes" he laughed.

"I'm pretty sure my mom packed some over sized sweatpants in there" I said pointing to my suitcase. He got a pair and went back in the bathroom to change, he came out in a pair of grey sweatpants that fit him perfectly, and no shirt.

My shower wasn't long, I slipped on an oversized sweater and my panties and that's all I really needed. Like I said, Calum is my best friend, he's seen me in my underwear before so it's not a big deal.

I turned off all of the lights before climbing under the covers with Calum, "goodnight Calum" I said. All I heard was soft snores, meaning he already was asleep. "I love you" was the last thing I said before falling into a deep slumber.
