Chapter Nine- The Chit Chat

"Sweetheart, are you here?" Leonardo yelled through the hallways of their house. Their house was pretty hidden in the New York, the house was in upstate New York.

"In my room, father" Dakota yelled back to Leonardo.

Leonardo went to Dakota's room, he found her in her bed watching Titanic.

"What's wrong sweetheart?" Leonardo questioned his daughter as he went to go sit down on her kind-sized bed.

"I-I slapped Niall" Dakota said "I don't know why, a lot of things were running through my mind last night"

"What happened last night?"

"Louis told me to meet him up at a restaurant, and as a result of yesterday he wasn't there. Instead of him going it was Niall the one who was supposed to go. Niall said he wanted to get back with me and promised that he wouldn't do what he had done before and when he told me that I didn't know what to do, so I slapped him" Dakota explained to her father.

Leonardo hugged Dakota as she broke down into sobs and he kissed her head.

"Do you still love Niall, Dakota?"

"Yes, I do, but I don't know if he's going to cheat if I get back with him"

"We'll then, how about I have a little chit chat with Niall tomorrow about this getting back together thing?"
"If you want to"

"Of course, get dressed because you my princess are going to go get ice cream with your dad"

The Very Next Day,

Dakota asked Louis what was Niall's address and he gave her his address.

"I'll see you later, honey" Leonardo said giving Dakota a kiss on the cheek, "Bye daddy" Dakota said to him kissing his cheek as we'll.

Once, Leonardo got to Niall's house he went up the doorbell and rang it.

Niall opened it and was a little surprised to see Leonardo.

"Hey Leonardo, come in"

"Hi Niall"

They both went to the living room and sat on the couch. A very uncomfortable
silence.

"What brings you to my house?"

"We need to talk about Dakota-"

"What's wrong with her? Is she okay? Did something happened to her?"

Leonardo saw the panic in Niall's eyes, he new that by just looking at Niall's eyes he cared about Dakota still.

"Nothing wrongs with her, Niall. This is about you and her"

"Oh, okay"

"Niall, Dakota still loves you and all. But she's apprehensive, she feels that's something unpleasant will happen if she's with you"

"I can assure you Leonardo, that I have change. I promise you that if me and Dakota get back together than I will not do what I did in the past and I will not do anything that'll her hurt in anyway"

Leonardo heard sincere in his voice.

"Listen, Dakota told me she wanted to apologized for slapping you. She said she didn't mean it, she did it because she had a lot of things running through her mind"

"Tell her it's okay"

"She said and I quote her words "Dad, tell Niall that I'm sorry. Tell him to meet me up in Central Park"

"Well if she wants too"

Leonardo and Niall talk some more, and are take-in food while watching a football match.

"It was nice talking to you Niall"

"You too Leonardo"

"He said he'll meet you up" Leonardo said explaining Dakota what happened.

"Okay"

They talked some more until it late and was time to sleep.

Dakota has been getting hate lately because the video of her slapping Niall has been going viral.
