Chapter Seventeen- The Oscars ---------------------------------------------
Three Months Later,
After Niall's birthday, he had to leave Ontario to continue the tour with the boys and Dakota stayed in Ontario.
Dakota had flown to Los Angles to meet up with father after three months. Niall and the boys are almost finishing up the tour.
Today was the annual Oscars. As much as Niall wanted to be with Dakota to support her and her father of course, he couldn't because of the tour.
Dakota wanted to take Niall as her date but couldn't because of the tour, she's was going to go with her father.
"I hope you win the Oscar dad"
"I hope you win the Oscar as we'll sweetheart"
"You know, if you won you're mum would have been so proud of you. Even, if you didn't win she'll still be proud of you"
"I want to win this award for her dad. I love her and miss her"
Dakota mother was long past away. Her mum had died in a car accident,- drunk truck driver had crashed his truck against her mum's Ferrari. When Dakota heard the news about her mum, she broke down into sobs and tears.
When her mum died Dakota was only ten years old, still a youth.
"Honey, get dressed"
"Alright"
Dakota went up the stairs in their mansion, in Los Angles in a private area, and into her bedroom. --------
Dakota already finished getting dressed and went downstairs to see her father in a suit.

"You ready?"
"Yeah, just let me get my shoes and then I'll be ready"
"Good because we leave in five minutes"
After Dakota got her shoes, she quickly slip them on and left with her dad to his Black Sport Range Rover.
Leonardo drove to the location, where the Oscars were going to be and when they got there it was crowded with paparazzi and other famous people.
Leonardo and Dakota both stepped on the red carpet, elbows linked with each other, and went to go pose for the cameras.
Kate Winslet, the best friend of Leonardo, saw them both and sprinted towards them giving each one of them a hug.
The three posed together for a little while, and then went inside because it was time.
Kate sat with her husband in another row of seats, while Leonardo and Dakota sat in the front rows. -------
Niall was sitting in his bed in the tour bus watching the Oscars in his Apple laptop.
He couldn't keep his eyes off Dakota because she was that stunning.
"And the Oscar goes to..." Julianne Moore said through the microphone.
"Leonardo DiCaprio!"
Niall silently cheered, happy that his girlfriend father won an Oscar.
He then heard Leonardo's award speech.

After Leonardo said his speech, Julianne Moore was announcing the nominees for the best female actress.
"The best female actress Oscar goes to..."
Niall saw Dakota holding her father father's hand, more like gripping it.
"Dakota DiCaprio!"
Niall cheered so loudly that the other boys walked in asking what was going on.
Niall said Dakota get up from her seat and receive a hug from her father and her father have her a kiss on her forehead.
Dakota walked up to the stage to receive her award and give her award speech.
"And lastly, I want to thank my beloved boyfriend Niall for supporting me in everything and the same goes with my parents. Tonight this awards is not only just for me, but it's all for the women out there who think they can't do it but they can do it!
Niall was truly amazed by her speech, it was one of the best he had ever heard.
Niall was proud of Dakota, he was still going to be proud even if she didn't win the award. ------
When the Oscars finished, Leonardo drove himself and Dakota to their house in Calabasas.
Dakota got a phone call from Niall.
"Hello, sweetheart!"
"Hello, babe! I wanted to congratulate you and you're dad on winning the award. Both of you're speeches were amazing"
"Thank you Niall"
"You know if you didn't win, I'd still be proud of you love"
"I know Niall, that's why I always love you"
Both, Niall and Dakota, talked and talked until it was late.
After the call ended, Dakota couldn't help feel a little sad. She wanted to be with Niall at the moment and kiss his soft lips.
Only in two months his tour with his bandmates will be down.
Then, there'll be a break. Meaning no more tours for now. -------
