Adrien stood awestruck at the sight in front of him. His brain could not compute it, he saw the flash of the gun right in front of him but he was unscathed. He snapped back into reality when he heard the smack of bone on the hard asphalt.

His sister lay on the ground unmoving.

"Alyssa!!" He screamed and jumped into action. He threw his body at his father, swing his baton wildly. Gabriel's staff was jabbed into his gut causing Adrien to keel over in sharp pain.

"No you don't!!" Marinette's sharp voice sounded in Adrien's ear. She grabbed Gabriel's staff with her yo-yo and pulled it out of his hands. However Gabriel seemed undaunted.

"Fools" he jeered. Marinette glanced behind her at the staff and saw hundreds of akuma's flying out of it. She and Adrien gasped in horror. The akuma's flew out into all parts of Paris.

"We have to catch them before the whole of Paris is akumatized!" Marinette called to her partner. He nodded and they both races out into the streets.

Gabriel watched them go, grinning like a fool. He looked down at his daughter who had transformed back.

"Now the fun begins" he cooed looking down at her fondly. Alyssa barely felt him hitting her with all he had. Her vision was still black and she was in a dream-like state. A kick to her head sent her reeling. She held her head with her mouth open but no sound came out.

She opened her eyes but saw nothing, her eyes stung as blood trickled into them. "What? Got nothing to say?! Or can't you speak?!" Gabriel gloated over Alyssa who could barely move. Her body was truly at its limit.

While Adrien and Marinette were out capturing akuma's Adrien's sharp ears heard a cry. It wasn't loud but he knew who it was. Fear gripped his heart as he realized his mistake.

"Marinette! I have to go back!" He called out, she turned to him confused.

"Why? What's wrong?" She asked,

"Alyssa" he said gravely. He turned and rushed back to where he left his sister. When he turned the last corner he saw His father standing over her. She was splayed on the ground, convulsing in pain.

"Gabriel!" He roared and jumped on him. His baton swinging wildly, hitting his father in several parts of his body. Gabriel growled under his breath and smacked his son on the side of the head sending him flying.

Adrien landed hard on his side, he grabbed it and noticed something warm and sticky covers his hand. He glanced down and saw scarlet blood pumping out of his side. Gabriel stalked up towards him as Adrien struggled to find his bearings.

"Don't worry, your death will be much shorter than hers" he snarled. Marinette crested a housing complex as she saw Gabriel about to attack her beloved Adrien.

"No! Adrien!!" She screeched, throwing herself towards them. Before she could get to the ground an explosion of light blinded her. Adrien glanced from around his arm that he put up to protect himself. He saw a golden face glaring at Gabriel's.

He stood in awe, the peacefulness and tranquility that surrounded them was calming and comforting. Adrien forgot about his side the more he stared at her beautiful angelic figure.

Her soft eyes became harsh in an instant,

"I expected your anger towards your daughter. But our son? That I cannot forgive." She murmured just loud enough for Adrien to hear. Another flash of light blinded him but this time when Adrien opened his eyes he saw his father on the ground.

In front of him was the butterflies broach, it crumbled into dust and the wind blew it away. He laid his head down his vision blurring together as the distant sounds of an ambulance sounded.

He felt hands picking him up and laying his body on a stretcher. Turning his head he saw his sister, he barely saw her but he noticed her body was oddly still.

"A-Alyssa" he croaked out trying to extend his arm to grab her wrist but a wave of agony from his side made him scream in agony.

His body was loaded into the truck and the doors slammed. He tried to stay awake but the pain was too much for his body and he passed out, the last thing he heard was the wailing of the sirens.
