Alyssa held a stern glare with the Queen of England. The Queen and her army stopped their assault on Alyssa and her friends.

"Fortunately for you, a public execution here wouldn't do well for my image. But don't worry little girl. I'll be back." The Queen growled as she retreated.

As Alyssa watched them go she felt her stomach twist uneasily. Something was wrong. She turned to Adrian and Marinette,

"Hey, I'll catch up later. I have to talk to her." She said,

"Just be careful. She gives me the creeps" Marinette said tentatively. Alyssa smiled and jogged off towards her foster mother and her army.

As she got closer a soldier grabbed her arm and pushed her away,

"Halt. You are not permitted to see her majesty." He said sternly.

"I just want to talk. I am her daughter after all." Alyssa retorted quickly.

"Oh my dear daughter! You've come back!" The Queen came rushing towards Alyssa her face almost twisted in a smile. "Come, come. Join me over here" she led Alyssa to a secluded area.

"Mom I-" Alyssa was cut off by her foster mother.

"Shut up you ignorant whelp!" She snarled and slapped Alyssa across the face. Alyssa stumbled backwards, holding her cheek.

"What?" Alyssa whimpered,

"What do you think you're doing? They are the enemy! The miraculous users!! Yet you join them like they are your family!" The Queen screamed.

"Adrien's my half-brother! And Marinette is his best friend!!" Alyssa yelled back.

"The only reason you know of his existence is because Gabriel couldn't do his damned job! After he got rid of that bimbo of a wife he only had his son left to get rid of! But NO he had to wait for the 'right time'. The fool should have never let this happen!"

Alyssa cocked her head,

"H-how do you know about Gabriel?" She asked quietly. The Queen gave Alyssa an alarmed look but shook it off into a crazed cackle.

"Ahahaha!! Sweetheart, this was the plan all along. With my help tracking down everyone who had a miraculous Gabriel could collect them all and become the most powerful man on Earth! Only to be stripped of his might after I killed him. Then I wouldn't just be the Queen of England, but of Europe!"

Alyssa gasped,

"You helped Gabriel gather the miraculous's? Helped him murder hundreds of people?! Even try to kill me?"

"Ha! Like your pathetic life matters to me! Sure, you grew up into a pretty good fighter, but you are too much like your mother. Soft."

Alyssa couldn't believe her ears. Her own mother and Gabriel were working together from the start! And she had no idea what was going on. She slowly backed away from the Queen.

"Oh? And where do you think you're going?" Her mother's face contorted into a glare.

"Away from you! You- monster!" Alyssa shrieked as she turned and sprinted down the alleyway and out into the street. She heard hundreds of feet and bullets whizz by her ears. The French police saw the soldiers attacking Alyssa and open fired.

Alyssa found Adrien and Marinette again and all three hid behind a cluster of buildings. The constant sound of gunfire rang in their ears.

"What's going on?!" Marinette said as she held her hands over her ears.

"We- we just started a war" Alyssa said as she poked her head out. Blood and bodies littered the streets of Paris. Her whole life had been a lie. Everything. And now innocent lives were paying the price of her mistakes.
