Adrien backed away shaking his head.

"No. No. You're supposed to be dead!" He said shakily.

"Adrien" the blonde haired woman said calmly taking a step towards him. "It's me. Alyssa" she said softly. Adrien was hyperventilating as he turned and walked away from her. He had finally come to terms with his sister's death and now she was standing in front of him. Alive.

"No, get away from me!" He said lowly.

"I could hear you" Alyssa said, Adrien paused.

"Hear me?" He asked.

"I could hear the machines and you. Screaming. You were screaming because I died. I didn't. I was alive. I just couldn't tell you because my body would not move. They flew me to England and I woke up on the plane."

Alyssa said as Adrien turned around slowly. "The doctors say that it's a miracle. Something they've only read about, never seen. When someone's pulse becomes too slow there is a one and five trillion chance that the body will stay in that state of almost hibernation. The heartbeat is too slow to maintain proper blood flow to the organs and extremities."

Adrien stood silent for a moment before he spoke. "So, you- you were never dead?" Alyssa shake her head. "Then why cut and color your hair? Are you running from something?"

Alyssa glanced around to make sure no one was watching them.

"Well. My foster parents didn't exactly seem happy when they saw me. I found out that they knew Gabriel and we're paying him to get rid of you and me after our mother died. Then they were going to kill him so his fortune would be theirs."

Adrien perked up,

"Sounds like a job for some superheroes" he chuckled. Alyssa giggled,

"I don't know about that, but we should let the authorities know." Alyssa said. The two strolled down the sidewalk when they came across an open air bar. Everyone was crowed around the TV.

"What's that all about?" Adrien asked. The headline read: What's so 'super' about superheroes?

Alyssa walked closer to listen to the news report.

"A couple in Northern Europe has expressed strong feelings towards the events of earlier this year. When all across Europe superheroes were attacked and killed. The persist of the villain who in fact was a superhero stopped in Paris when he murdered a young girl. Some say that superheroes should be banned."

Alyssa tilted her head,

"They do realize that without superheroes Hawkmoth would have never been stopped." She said,

"And without superheroes he never would have come to power" someone retorted crossly. "The world has seen so much damage and families have been torn apart because of them. They shouldn't be allowed anywhere in the world!"

Alyssa glanced at Adrien.

"Let's go home" Adrien said cautiously. The two made it safely to Adrien's house. Adrien walked in and noticed it was quiet. More than normal.

"Natalie? Hello?! Anybody home?" He called out. No answer. "That's odd" he murmured. Alyssa ventured further in, glancing around.

"Mr. Agreste." A voice behind the two made them jump.

"GAH!" They screamed in unison. A professional man stood on the front porch.

"Sorry to startle you sir, and ma'am. But unfortunately your bodyguard and secretary are no longer able to assist you." He said readjusting his glasses.

"But why?" Adrien inquired. The man blinked,

"I'm sorry but that information is classified." He said, dipped his head, and left.

"Even more odd" Adrien commented and closed the door. Alyssa took off her sunglasses and looked around the house.

"It's been too long." She breathed. She remembered looking at this ceiling one last time before she left in the middle of the night for England. Giving her little brother a last kiss on the head.

Adrien came up beside her and hugged her tightly.

"I'm glad you're alive" he whispered. Alyssa returned the hug, stroking the back of his head.

"Me too" she said softly. She only wished she could see her mother again and have a normal life. However, normal was out of the question now. Something big was going on but she had no idea.

Even with Gabriel locked up there was still evil in the world. The only problem was that it seemed the whole world was turning on them. Adrien and Marinette could save Paris but could they save themselves?
