I saw A Dream

My long lost love

I saw a dream
In an early morning
Of my long lost love
And a struggle to live.

I quietly returned
From the fair in the jungle
Saying i don't belong
Here with all the people.

I realized I was walking
Without my shoes on
And staring at nothing.

Suddenly, I passed by
A crowd of people
And a known creature.

I waited for him to call me
And ask how am I doing
To check if he even remembers me.

Happily, he called me
With a big smile in his face
As if he was with me
In all the cold and warm days.

He carried me on his back like an older brother
To protect me from the pointed pebbles
Where I felt warm and welcomed

Now, he could feel the heat
Coming from my face
And knew that he has the same effect
Like on the earlier days.

You are still the same
The one who blushes until I disappear
Gently, he said.

But, you have become colder
Who might never be the same
Even though you seem to be cheerful
And welcoming as always.

The conversation ended
When we reached a silent place
Because he could hear
What was unsaid.

The silence was broken
When we went back to the place
Where we met
Then he left
And disappeared
As always
Without a single word
About his where about

Neither I stopped him
Nor did I said him to stay
Or asked to come again

It was already dark until then
The place looked quite strange
People with familiar faces
Sat down for the feast
Whereas, some left the place.

I, too, sat down to have the meal
With a restless feeling
When I saw a group of people
crawling In the field
But I thought it was an illusion

The feast was soon filled with terror
Fears and tears overpowered
People ran and rushed
Some were killed and some escaped
