The Beast

Why does my heart melt as I see your eyes?

                              
A weak and fragile heart 
That melts as it sees you

                              
A heart filled with pain 
That can't see you in pain

                              
Even when you are the reason why the heart is breaking
and crying out of pain

                              
A weak and fragile being 
That tries to heal a powerful beast 
A servant to the beast 

                              
A servant that feeds the beast
Even when its claws 
scratches her heart 
and spill out some blood.

                              
Why is the servant serving the beast? 

                              
What is there that I can't see?
