Why do I write poems?

For me, It is a way of capturing my emotions and memories into the words and expressing myself . Poems are like a voice of my soul and communication between my soul and inner self and sometimes to other people as well. So I write poems for myself and to the readers or i'd say the listeners.

How did you start writing poems?

Initially i wrote a poem because I didn't have time to write stories. And sometimes I was too lazy as I never wrote more that seven chapters of any story that I started.

There were so much inside me that wanted to be written and my mind used to explode out because of my thoughts. But either I didn't have enough time or I used to be too lazy to complete stories.

And that is how I started writing poetry.
