Life Inside a Cage

Here I am between the painted walls
With beautiful windows
Through which I can see
the world ahead of me
The mountains ever standing tall
And the sky above me

I see the morning sun rays
Upon the mountains,
Changing days
And the flying clouds
Along with the birds

Within the walls there is a bed
Where I spend my day
And explore at night

I travel in dreams
and think when I am awake.

A small temple I have built
Where the God stay
And watch me live

Within the walls and inside the closed door
There is a heaven I have built
Flowers and lakes,
A bird in its cage

Pictures of people hanged on the wall
But they can barely talk

I light all the lights
So that I can see I am alive
And feel that it is still a bright day

A bright day within the walls
And behind the closed doors
Where people merely visit

Everything is changing
Yet it remains the same
Sometimes it gets messy
And sometimes it gets God's blessings

It changes like seasons
Summer and Autumn
Winter and Spring
