Haley's P.O.V.

I wiped my tears away as I stood up from the bed and walked to the front. I knew I shouldn't be crying, he's going to be back. He has to. I figured the only way to get all this emotion out was to let it out. I walked out the front door and outside to the open grass. I grabbed my sword from behind my back and began practicing my skills. My skills from fighting and also from the sword. I broke out in a good sweat but it also felt good, to get all of my emotions out. Once I finished I noticed Morgan slowly approaching me from the corner of my eye

"Hey" I said after putting my sword back on my back

"Those are some skills you have. Where did you learn that?" He asked holding his stick weapon thing

"My brother Tyler, when I was smaller he would always go off to practice and I would beg to go with him. Guess it really comes in handy now"

He nodded "What about you?" I asked "Did you learn what you learned before, or after?"

"After" Was all he said. I nodded and wiped away the sweat of my forehead with the back of my hand "Daryl, you truly love him don't you?" He asked

What kind of question is that? I thought. I looked to the ground then back at him "Yes. Without him I wouldn't be here. I wouldn't be the person I am"

"All life is precious" He turned around and began to walk away

"Hey Morgan" I called out. He turned back around to look at me "Your wife. How much did you love her?"

I know it isn't easy to ask but I felt I needed an opinion. He took a second to reply "I loved her more than anything in the world" For the first time he gave a smile

"Whenever she was out. Did you ever feel it? Like you knew when she was in trouble. Or something was wrong?"

"Yes. I did. And if something goes wrong, I think you will feel it. You will know" He responded. He turned around and continued to walk away

I stood there for a couple minutes before I walked away to grab a glass of water. I began to walk outside along the road when Aaron began to walk next to me

"I haven't asked, are you okay?" He asked "I noticed you took off when Rick was talking to us"

"Yea, I'm fine. I just wanted to get away" I said looking straight down

"I'm sorry, it's my fault" He said softly

I stopped walking and finally looked at him "What are you talking about?" I asked

"I dropped my pack sometime back, the wolves got it. They followed us here, it's my fault they attacked"

I scoffed lightly "Aaron non of this is your fault, they might've would've found us anyway. They were killers, with no remorse. Don't hang this over yourself. It's not your fault Aaron"

I gave him a nod before I walked away. I grabbed a gun from the armory I walked towards the tower. I wanted to be alone, might as well keep watch. I walked to the tower "Hey James, I got it. Your shifts done"

He nodded and climbed down the tower "Thanks" He said before he walked away. I climbed the tower and held the gun close to me. I watched out for any of the others. I looked around in the community and saw Rick on another guard tower. Pretty soon the darkness covered the sky. I departed from the tower and walked away to my home. I went inside and laid down on the bed but I didn't close my eyes. The entire night I kept them open, listening, waiting, for Daryl to walk through that door

Daryl's P.O.V.

We didn't stop. We kept going and going

"Alright" Sasha came on the radio

"That's 20?" I asked

"I will be 642 is a mile ahead. We gotta put distance between us and them before the turnoff" She explained

"So floor it" Abraham came on

"Try and keep up" I said through the radio

"Daryl have you looked at this car?" Sasha laughed "Believe me we want to get back there too"

After reached 642 we turned left and I sped up. Before we could get far gunfire began to come upon us. I tried dodging wherever they were coming from. The bike went one way in front of me while I went to the ground. Damn it. I quickly stood up while the gunfire continued and started my bike taking off. But cars followed me. I kept my head down and kept going. I turned a way to see walkers snarling but not to many do I veered passed them. Who the hell were these people? I thought I managed to cut off one car but the other followed me.

I hid in the woods as I lost the other car. I drove across and into the woods. I came across a burnt around in the forest and it was becoming hard to drive. I was slowing down. Before my bike stopped I fell to the floor panting. So much for getting home in time, detour. I flinched my head to see a rotten corpse with a helmet on snarling. I didn't fight it, it couldn't get me so I just laid there. Haley, I've got to get back to her. I stood up and grabbed the bike as I walked along the burnt woods with my bike. I couldn't hear anything but birds calling. Music to my ears. I was tired, but I had to keep going. The bike was heavy as hell. I passed dead corpses along the way. I pushed it slowly down a small hill but I fell with the bike on top of me

I continued to pant. I brought out the radio and squeezed on out "Sasha" I called out on the radio "Abraham you there?" Pure static hissing. I looked down at a corpse head to see blood coming down, from me. I slowly took off my glove then took off my jacket wincing at the pain I was feeling. I looked at the blood from the wound. I threw my jacket to the ground. I grabbed something from my bike but that's when I jerked up my head when I heard branched snap. It continued to rustle. I grabbed my crossbow and raised it up to me as my eyes searched the woods. I covered my bike before I began to walk to whatever it was. I kept walking quietly until I turned a corner to see two girls standing up arms raised. Well shit
