Chapter 15- Hilltop

Haley's P.O.V.

The next morning I kept look out at the tower. It was for the entire day I was there. People were still helping out with the wall and inside. By the next day I kept watch for most of the day. Afterwards I put back one long gun at the armory. I only kept my handgun and sword with me. Then by the next I found out they were talking with Jesus. I walked inside the house to see some of my people and Jesus sitting down.

I approached as Jesus was talking "Your worlds about to get a whole lot bigger"

After the meeting ended I sat on the porch sharpening my sword. They were getting things ready to leave, and I was going. Maybe Jesus isn't so bad after all

"Let's chew up some asphalt!" I heard Abraham yell

Daryl grabbed my hand as I walked in followed by him. We sat down as I sat next to him. I made myself comfortable and wrapped my arm around his. I closed my eyes to take a small snooze. I felt him lay a small kiss on my forehead. But my eyes opened when I felt the rv slow down

"Yo, Rick. What's going on?" Daryl said

"We got a crash ahead, looks like it just happened" Rick said slowing down

I stood up when Jesus headed to the door "It's one of ours"

Once Rick pulled to a stop we all climbed out. A car was in its side, blood everywhere. A walker stuck underneath

"I know how this looks, can I borrow a gun?" Jesus asked

"No, we got tracks right here" Daryl said

We followed it and came to a door from a small building. Rick pounded on the door but there was silence

"They gotta be in there" Jesus said

Rick looked back at us and lowered his gun "We moving in or what?" Abraham asked

"How do we know this ain't firecrackers in a trash can?" Daryl asked leaving my side and walking to Rick

"You don't" Jesus said to him

"We'll get your people" Rick told him. Rick took a couple steps to him "Your staying here with two of us"

Jesus looked back at us "That's the deal" Michonne said

"Will you stay?" Glenn asked Maggie "Yea" She replied

"You stayin' too?" Daryl asked me. I nodded at him

"You'll go, just be careful" Maggie said

Rick began to put handcuffs on Jesus "Yea. We're gonna be careful"

"Just hurry" Jesus said

"You hear me whistle. Shoot him" Rick said

Daryl looked at me and gave me a nod. I nodded back "I will" Maggie said

They walked in while Maggie and I stayed behind. She had her gun pointed at him while I put out my blade making it sing as I pulled it out. I held it next to me
