Polaroids Lost in Time

Better

I've tried loving something new,
And learning to move on,
A few hobbies to spend my time,
Instead of thinking what went wrong.

I've traveled all over, across and under,
With the free time that I have,
Seeking for my great perhaps,
That I hope to understand.

I have met different people.
And I have seen different things.
Felt moments I haven't felt before-
Moments only found in dreams.

I've learned how to play
An instrument or two.
I've also learned how to cook-
Something I never thought I could do.

So if you ever ask how I'm doing,
I wouldn't tell you "fine".
Surely I'm doing better than that-
And I get better and better with time.
