"There are a lot of stars in the sky. Common knowledge. And there is much more that we don't know of. Maybe there are parallel universes and flying horses and magic and rabbits that talk. Maybe they exist in an entirely different reality that's not so different than ours." She spoke with an ambitious wonder as if convincing herself of her words and willing them to be true. "There's gotta be at least one place in this universe where reasons aren't needed for something to happen. Like things exist just for the sake of existing," she huffed with an exasperated sigh. Her expression suddenly now troubled with self doubt. Taking note of her little frustration, his lips quirked up into a small smile, one that was barely noticeable in the dark.
"I'd like to think that. That everything is- in one way or another- uncertain and undefined." He looked at her as if discovering something new, something bold and something possible.
