I roll over and look at my clock. 11:56 . I sigh and grab my laptop. I open up my chat room and notice that I have a message from TheFrais1234.

TheFrais1234: Hey, you up? I couldn't sleep.

It was sent 15 minutes ago. Without thinking, I begin to type.

Quinn1988: Yeah, I'm up.

It takes a minute before it shows him typing.

TheFrais1234: What took so long ? :)

Quinn1988: I was trying to sleep but, I couldn't. What's keeping you up?

TheFrais1234: I was thinking about something.

Quinn1988: What about?

I didn't get a response yet after waiting almost 10 minutes. Then finally...

TheFrais1234: You.

Quinn1988: Oh. Why, if you don't mind me asking?

TheFrais1234: Since we started these chats and I started to get to know you, I have realized that I'm missing something in my life. I came on here just to meet someone that I could be friends with. But, I met you, and I don't want to be just friends. I want to be there for you when you feel like giving up. I want to be the one who will hold you when you want to break down and cry. I want to be the one that will make you happy and block all the pain that you have stored up in your head. I want you.

My jaw nearly hits the keyboard. I can't figure out what to say. I try and think of something, but my thoughts are all jumbled up into some foreign language that I can't even speak. My hands are shaking, but somehow, a smile forms. I haven't even thought of TheFrais1234 as anything more than a friend. I mean I barely know what he looks like or if he lives here in Colorado.

TheFrais1234: Say something, please.

Quinn1988: I don't know what to say.

He's a nice guy. He knows a lot about me, and I guess you could say that we have formed an online relationship. I care about him deeply and now I know he feels the same way, but we'll be seeing each other in less than a month. Will I feel the same after I meet him?

TheFrais1234: Well sleep on it. I'll talk to you later.

He logged out and I closed my laptop. I lay back down and close my eyes. They same smile finds its way back on my face. At least I know I'm wanted.
