Nick and I arrive home and walk into the office, where my mom was working on another book. "Hey Quinn. Hey cry-baby." She jokes with Nick. Nick mocks her in her english accent and walks towards the kitchen. I walk to my mom and kiss her on her cheek. "Whoa, who is this lady behind me? Whose ass did you beat?" She chuckles. I shake my head. " I didn't beat anybody's ass. Yet. I actually met some girls." Mom turns around and stands up. Her silk pink pajamas are slightly wrinkled in the legs. She begins walking down the hall and makes a left and I know where she was taking me. We were heading to 'The Cave'. Basically, it was a cooler version of the basement where we play games and other normal family things. Mom puts in the code and opens the door. We walk to the first couch we see and sit down. " Now what's this I hear about you meeting some girls?" mom smiles. I sigh. "Three of them. Dana, Carolyn, and Autumn."
"Everything's better in three's." She smiles at me and I shake my head. "They seem really nice, but-" I scoff. "But your afraid that they'll abandon you like the others did to join the army of Megan Snow?" My mom asks. I nod my head. "That is very unlikely to happen."
Mom pulls me into her, wrapping her arms around me. "Mom, it's been happening since 7th grade, it's very likely for it to happen."
"Oh, that? That was just a tester. The real thing comes later on and this, my dear daughter, is later on." She pokes my nose. "You're probably right." I say after a few seconds of silence. Mom and I stand up and I walk towards the door. "I know, but just in case I'm wrong, you can try and beat me in the ring." She points to our boxing ring. I chuckle. "Okay, whatever mother." I start walking out the door.
"Oh, and don't forget that it's Wednesday game night. We're playing charades." "We always play charades on game night." "Well, then you and your brother decide what to play." I fist bump the air when she says this. I walk out of the doorway. " Nothing violent!" Mom calls out. Way to ruin game night, mom.

I open my laptop and go to the chat room from last night.
Quinn1988: Hey, are you on?
TheFrais1234: Yeah, I'm here.
Quinn1988: How was your day?
TheFrais1234: Not good. The girl that I'm dating didn't like the fact that I was assigned to work with my crush, so she got her schedule changed to my classes.
Quinn1988: I didn't know you had a girlfriend.
TheFrais1234: Yeah, I have a girlfriend. I thought having one would get my crush to like me even more, but, it doesn't look like it's working.
Quinn1988: I've never had a boyfriend before.
TheFrais1234: It can be awesome if you're with the person you like.
Quinn1988: I bet.
TheFrais1234: How's it going with your crush?
Quinn1988: Horrible. I just accepted the fact that I'm never going to have a chance with him.
TheFrais1234: How come?
Quinn1988: I think he's in love with his girlfriend.
TheFrais1234: How do you know he's in love with his girlfriend?
Quinn1988. He said that he gets to see a side of her that no one else gets to see.
TheFrais1234: When did he say this to you?
Quinn1988: He said it to me this morning. When we were finishing up some papers in the front office.
TheFrai1234: You must have very good memory.
Quinn1988: I do.
TheFrais1234: Well, just because he said that doesn't mean that he's in love with her.
Quinn1988: How do you know that?
TheFrais1234: I know that because I'm a master at knowing how guys think.
Quinn1988: Okay, O' Great One. What does it mean when a guy smiles every time he see you?
TheFrais1234: Easy, that means that he's interested in you and he enjoys your company.
Quinn1988: Really?
TheFrais1234: Trust me, he doesn't love the girl that he's with. He wants someone else and that's probably you.
Quinn1988: Really? Thank you, that means a lot.
TheFrais1234: You're welcome. Now, I do enjoy this conversation that we are having, but my mother just called me down for dinner. I'll talk to you later.
Quinn1988: Okay, talk to you later
TheFrais1234: Okay
TheFrais1234 has logged off.
I close my laptop and walk to my brothers room. "Come on, creeper. We have to pick a game for game night." I say, leaning against the door frame.
Okay guys, their Cave is on the right. Don't forget to vote/comment.
