Fairy Tail: Light in the Darkness

A Rocky Start

"Ok ladies and gents let the first real event of the Grand Magic Games begin!" The announcer says

"Lets explain the rules for this event." Mr Yajima says " All of the teams will send out a member to participate in this event. Each member will be transported to different locations so no one will be aware of anybody's location. If you are attacked then you lose a point if you are the attacker and you land a hit then you gain a point. If you attack a clone of an individual then points will still be deducted."

Everyone then starts to choose the person from their team to compete in the event.

"I'll go." I say

"No I'll go. I'm the manliest man here!" Elfman says

"Yeah...this game is called Hidden. It would be dumb if we sent a huge brute like you out there..." Gray says "I'll go."

"Well...you do have a point...I guess..." Elfman agrees...kinda

After a little while everyone has decided who's going to compete in the first event. Gray from our team is going and Juvia from Team Fairy Tail B is going. Oh no...I can see this going somewhere...Gray and Juvia...bad mix...or good mix. Uh...hopefully their good being out there at the same time. I have a feeling Juvia might tackle him... Even though Team Fairy Tail B isn't the same as our team they're still apart of the same guild as us. I don't really want any of us to lose any points.

Anyway...everybody is transported. The newbie from Quatro Cerberus is competing as well. I wonder what magic he uses...

The event begins and every team can see the person that they sent out to compete through something called lacrima vision. Its pretty crystal clear. Gray and matter of fact everyone else starts off by wandering around trying to find an opponent so they can score some points. Then I notice a man who looks like he got his "great" fashion sense from a centuries old masquerade ball. That's right! He's the man named Rufus from Sabertooth. Whats's he doing though? Rufus puts his hand in the air and golden yellow streams of energy shoot out everywhere hitting almost everyone on the field with an exception of a select few. 

Eve from Blue Pegasus somewhat dodged it but he got hurt in the process. Poor Eve. I hope he'll be ok. Juvia is ok but I just found out that she tried to "attack" a clone of Gray. We all know she tried to hug it. She just can't resist Gray...

Gray managed to dodge the beams that Rufus started shooting out. Right after that...Nullpudding from Raven Tail managed to get a hit on him.   

"Come on Gray! You can get this guy!" I cheer

Everyone else is cheering too! Gray's gonna need all the support he can get. If he were to fight this Nullpudding guy...then it would be a close match. 

Gray and Nullpudding start brawling out. Gray scores some points but we're still at the bottom of the barrel along with Fairy Tail Team B who's only one place ahead of us.

"Aw man! Nullpudding's beatin the crap outta Gray! He's gotta pull it together if he wants to score some more points..." I think to myself

I don't know if I can stand to watch this anymore...I don't even know if I can call this fight anymore!

Umm...never mind...I can call this fight now...kinda. Juvia just came in a kicked Nullpudding in his head! Go Juvia! Its good that she came but I don't think Gray really likes that idea.

"Hey! What are you doing here?" Gray yells

"I just wanted to help my beloved my Gray!" She confesses

Of course that why she wanted to help! Oh well. That doesn't matter. I think their doing better now.

Nullpudding jumps in the air and punches both Juvia and Gray and face before the timer runs out. 

Juvia comes back looking sad but Gray...he looks disappointed and ashamed. He starts to walk past while not making eye contact with any of us. I think we all see it...

"It's only the first event. Don't worry about too much. Ok?" Lucy tries to cheer up Gray but to no avail 

"Gray." I grab his arm to keep him from walking any further.

He turns his head to look at me momentarily. He then turns his head back and yanks his arm to escape my grasp. Within those few seconds that he used to look at me I saw that he was truly ashamed for the way that he handled things out there in the arena. I feel bad for him. I know that I were him I'd feel embarrassed and ashamed too. 

"I-" Gray tries to say something but stops himself and proceeds to walk away
