Connection

"Aw man..." I think "Erza just went through 3 of her armors within seconds... Despite that... I will try to keep faith in her. That's what everyone else would've done if it was me out there."

Erza tries to get up off the ground but she's breathing deeply. 

"Huh. Your amazing. Your a worthy opponent indeed. I wonder where that strength comes from...maybe you harness it from your hatred of Jellal?" Erza asks

Kagura kicks Erza in the stomach and it sends her flying. Kagura approaches her and Erza struggles to get up again.

"Listen. I don't care if you hate Jellal or not just please leave Millianna out of it. She has a future and I bet that she's looking forward to it. She doesn't need that in her life right now." Erza says

Kagura attacks her but Erza obviously doesn't care anymore because it seems that she's trying to get something out of her.

"How are you and Jellal connected?" Erza asks

"...I'm aware of your relationship with him." Kagura totally ignores Erza's question 

Erza just looks at her and for some reason she finally starts to give Erza an answer.

"My older brother Simon was murdered by that man...Jellal..." Kagura explains

Erza has a shocked look on her face afterwards. She looks toward the ground as if to avoid her gaze.

"We were not the wealthiest of people but we were still happy of course. But then...the child hunt began. They kidnapped many children...including my brother... I wasn't caught. Sometime later I bumped into Millianna and she told me about Simon's death. Ever since then...I swore that I'd avenge my brother...by killing Jellal." Kagura explains further

"It... It wasn't Jellal who killed Simon. He...died because of my weakness. He died protecting me..." Erza reveals to Kagura

Kagura starts to cry but then lets out a yell and unsheathes her sword for the first time. We all think that the sword is going to hit Erza but no it doesn't. Erza is using her sword to block Kagura's from hitting her. She then starts swinging and slashing her sword around trying to land a hit on Erza but doesn't succeed.

"I'll kill you and Jellal!" Kagura says

"Sorry but dying isn't an option for me. If I die now then it would be a disgrace to everyone who died trying to protect me." Erza says "I have no intentions of persuading you to change how you feel but I will not allow you to go through with them either."

Then a loud noise can be heard. Its the sound of one of the nearby pillars collapsing. Erza quickly pushes Kagura out of the way but when she does the debris lands on one of her legs.

Kagura has a certain look on her face. It says "Why would you save me after I just tried to kill you?"

"Look...Kagura. When I was little I lived in a small village: Rosemary Village. Its the same village that you and Simon lived in." Erza says "Simon used to talk so much about you. I was worried. I didn't know if you were captured or not.

Kagura looks shocked. Its as if she remembered a certain detail that she once forgot. And that detail must have made all the difference. 

"I...I need time...time to process this...everything." Kagura says

She proceeds to help Erza and lift the debris off of her.

"I admit-" As Kagura was about to say something she's interrupted. Not by a person but by an object...a deadly one indeed.
