Fairy Tail: Light in the Darkness

Lucy vs...

Its a brand new day and we have new events to get to. Honestly...I'm a little nervous. I don't know how everyone else is feeling though.

"Lets begin today's event of the Grand Magic Games!" says the announcer "We've got two fights this time so lets get started! Team Fairy Tail A's Lucy Heartfila vs Flare Corona from Raven Tail!" 

"Huh?" I look at Lucy

I guess she wasn't expecting to fight this early. She sets that aside and puts on her game face. She's looking as determined as ever. She walks to the arena. She finds Flare already there. Ok I've got to say this. To be honest...Flare looks like a bimbo. She may not be blonde but she definitely looks like a bimbo. Look at the way she's standing. Her face says "I'm stupid" but maybe that's just me. 

{Lucy's inner thoughts}

{"I can't believe Raven Tail! They hurt Wendy! They hurt Carla! Despite the fact that they were once a dark guild that still doesn't give them the right to hurt the ones we care for! They're gonna pay...for everything they've done! And I'm gonna be the one to send the message..."}

"You ready Blondie?" Flare tries to intimidate Lucy

"I'm as ready as ever!" Lucy says cheerfully

Just how strong is Lucy...? I guess we'll find out soon...

"The match begins now!" The announcer says

"Ok!" Lucy brings out her key "Taurus I summon you!"

A cow man with a huge battle-axe appears and quickly dashes towards Flare so he can attempt an attack.

Flare somehow dodges the attack but Lucy just keeps going. Next she summons another spirit.

"Scorpio!" She takes out another key "You and Taurus combine your attacks!"

"Gotcha!" Scorpio says "Sand buster!" 

"Moooo!" Taurus whips his battle-axe forward

A large whirl of sand is sent towards Flare. It causes a major collision when it come in contact with her. It somehow sends her flying in the air and then finally she lands on the ground with a hard impact. Ouch...

This doesn't stop Flare though. She gets up and whips around her long red hair and they suddenly turn into shackles which trap Lucy.

Flare quickly jumps in the air trying to attack. Lucy's in the air upside down dangling in the clutches of Flare's long hair. Lucy's arms are free but she's still incapable of moving her legs in any way thanks to Flare's hair. Lucy somehow takes out her whip, a strange glowing blue and gold one, and strikes Flare with it using one of her free arms. Suddenly Flare jumps and turns mid air. Soon Flare is spinning Lucy using her hair. 

Then me along with the rest of Fairy Tail notice something. We smell something burning...What is that? We decide to ignore it for now and get back to watching the match between Lucy and Flare. The things is...as soon as we start back watching the fight...we realize what the burning smell was. Its was Lucy...her feet were burning. The only thing Lucy's feet could have had contact with were the ground and Flare's hair. The only reasonable explanation would be that Flare burnt Lucy.

They both fall to the ground. I can't believe that all this occurs within only a few minutes.

Lucy gets up despite her sustained injuries. To her surprise Flare quickly uses her hair to trap Lucy once again. Her arms and legs are tangled in the red hair. She struggles to escape but its no use. Then for some reason she stops attempting to get free of her grasp.

 She's about to fight back but something or someone stops her. I see Lucy look into the audience. Well specifically where the rest of Fairy Tail is sitting. Lucy's eyes widen in disbelief. She turns back around to face Flare. It seems like they're having some sort internal conversation.

[Lucy and Flare's Conversation]

"You're demented! Ya know that!?!?" Lucy yells at Flare

"I wouldn't do that if I were you..." Flare warns Lucy

"No! Don't you dare hurt her!" Lucy yells once more

"Or what? I'm in control here..." Flare says "Do what I say...or pay the price... Got it Blondie?!?!"

What comes next...is torture...literal torture...

Lucy's just sitting there. Is she just going to sit there and take this?!?!

"Come on Lucy..." I say

It seems like Lucy heard me. She turns toward me and puts on a brave smile. She keeps on taking her beating from Flare. She keeps whipping Lucy with her hair. The bad thing is that she's not just using her normal hair. Its hot... Its like a hot whip. Every time it comes in contact with Lucy it leaves a burn mark. Lucy isn't crumbling...I don't expect her to but...she's taking all this pain...how does she do it?

"Ahahahahahaha!" Flare laughs maniacally as she repeatedly whips Lucy with her hair

Immediately after that Flare starts swinging Lucy around with tremendous speed. Then she goes back to whipping Lucy with her flaming hair. Flare just keeps torturing Lucy...she's enjoying it...laughing with excitement.

"Hmm...what should I do to you now...?" Flare thinks of sadistic things she could to Lucy

"Perhaps I could kill you...but then that would be no fun. I got it! Maybe I could...replace your guildmark...humiliate you in front of the people you love..." Flare smirks

It starts to feel hot. I turn and see Natsu grabbing and setting fire to...several strands of red hair... I get it now! That's why she why she was just taking it. She didn't want Bisca and Alzack's daughter Asuka to get hurt. Flare must have been secretly using Asuka as hostage so that Lucy wouldn't resist her attacks. That's just dirty... 

"Your in the clear Luce!" Natsu yells "You don't have to worry anymore!

"Lucy! Take down that low life!" I yell

Lucy smiles. She's back in the game now. Flare was distracted when Natsu burned her hair. This made her accidentally drop Lucy. Lucy lands on both her feet and immediately summons another spirit.

"Its time to finish this!" Lucy yells "Gemini I summon you!"

"Pui!" Gemini says

"Gemini turn into me please!" Lucy says

Just like Lucy said Gemini turned into her. What's Lucy gonna do with two of herself though?

Lucy joins hands with Gemini and starts mumbling some words.

Hibiki from Blue Pegasus looks a bit surprised. Why is that? Oh yeah! Happy told me that Fairy Tail, Blue Pegasus, and Lamia Scale, and Cait Shelter teamed up. One of the members taught Lucy a new spell. Hibiki how did you know about a celestial wizard spell? Well...this spell is gonna make Lucy win for Team Fairy Tail so that doesn't matter!

A bright yellow glow starts to appear and we all thought the match was over. We were right but things didn't turn out how we expected it to...
