Fairy Tail: Light in the Darkness

The Grand Magic Games?

While out looking for some leads about where my sister could be I hear about something called the Grand Magic Games. I'm surprised and my new guildmates also seem surprised to hear about this. There's a broadcast about the Grand Magic Games on a large television that we just so happen to be near. We all attentively look up and listen to the TV.

"This year's Grand Magic Games includes Sabertooth, Mermaid Heel, Lamia Scale, Blue Pegasus, Quatro Cerberus, Raven Tail, Twilight Ogre and last but not least Fairy Tail. These are some of the top guilds so don't miss out on this years Grand Magic Games!"

"Hey did you guys know that we were participating in the Grand Magic Games this year?" I ask

"Well yes but we were not aware of the details..." Erza responds

"Why didn't you guys at least tell me! Geez..." I whine

"We didn't think that you'd be participating since your so new to the guild." Erza laughs

"I wanna participate! I wanna participate!" I stop because I realize I sound like a little kid "Can I fight with you guys?"

Everyone laughs at my excitement to fight with them during the Grand Magic Games.

"Sure you can!" Erza says happily "But you must first show your strength!" She continues in a somewhat terrifying gesture.

Everyone moves backwards away from Erza. I guess everyone is scared of Erza. Don't get me wrong Erza truly is terrifying but I'm not as scared of her as everyone else is. Look at em! They're frozen stiff like statues! I'm not too far from being a statue myself though...

"You wanna fight...like now...right here?!?!"

"Erza's serious. Does that look like a face that says I'm joking?" Gray says

Erza turns her head toward Gray and gives him a look that comically says I'll kill you.

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I sorry! Gray says as he hides behind Lucy.

"Whatcha hidin' behind me for?!?!" Lucy yells

"Begin!" Erza says loudly

"Wait what?" I say confused

Oh yeah...the fight...

I see Erza rush towards me with a fast dash. Her outfit changes into something completely different from before. First it was ordinary armor and it turned into another armor. Its design is unique. Its very silvery and has large wings on it. I just then come back to reality and see a sword coming way too close for comfort.

To avoid getting hit I quickly move out the way. That was a close one. She comes at me again but this time she makes lots of swords appear. Uh...that's a lot of swords...too many... I'm going to have a sword phobia after this. She makes them fly towards me. I dodge all the swords but one grazes my arm and a small cut forms. Ok I've done nothing but defend so far and I want this little fighting match to end as soon as possible.

Erza summons a large amount of swords and forms a circle with them. Before they can hit me I open up one of my portals and go through it. When I'm behind Erza she turns around looking surprised and I decide to make my move. I quickly punch her in the stomach. Sorry Erza but that's just one of the places that I aim for. She turns around and swiftly kicks me. Man that hurt...

I decide that I'm just going to use one of my last resorts. She quickly jumps into the air and when she does that I open a portal above her and she flies right into my trap. Finally the match is over! I kinda cheated though...oh well.

Everyone looks at me in awe. They keep looking at me until I say something.

"Hey its rude to stare you know!"

"We're just surprised that you beat Erza. That's all." Natsu says putting his hand behind his head.

"Well technically I didn't beat her." I admit

"What?!?!" Everyone says in unison

"All I did was put her somewhere. " I say while laughing

"And where is that?" Natsu asks

"In a portal..." I respond "She's in a different dimension right now."

"A different dimension!" Natsu yells

"Yep. She'll be fine though. Its just a big empty space there."
