"Ne, Otou-sama?" A small voice mumbled sleepily, coming from a small child who was rubbing the sleep from her eyes and yawning loudly, while clutching an off-white bunny plush to her chest. When no answer came from the darkened house her russet coloured eyes narrowed in confusion. She'd most definitely seen a person standing in the hallway a second ago...
The eight year old shrugged it off, and walked down the hall to the room she'd been in a few hours before. "Nii-san?"
The door slid open, and her older brother's green eyes stared down at her. "What is it, Yumi?"
"Can I stay here?" Yumi jumped slightly as a hand landed on her head, ruffling her red hair, before realising it was her brother's.
She looked up at him, smiling slightly, only to freeze in terror as a sword pierced through his chest, the blood splattering on her face.
"N-nii-san...?"
Her brother's body was thrown against the wall behind her, and she broke out of her shocked state to see hold snake like eyes staring back at her.
A dark chuckle rang through the air, and black began to seep into her vision, the last thing she saw was pasty white skin, and long, black hair.
