Chapter 9

Soojung POV

Where you going babe? Kai said while smirking.
"N...n..nowhere." I stuttered
"Let's go together." He said

He pulled me closer to him and puts his arm around my shoulder. We walk pass Sehun, he is just looking at us, glaring at Kai. Kai just smiled and continued dragging me to who knows where.

We arrived at the field where I always go. I stopped in the middle of the field and said
"Why did you drag me here?"
"Because I want to stay with you and you were going to come here anyways." He said

I kept quiet and kept walking with him. We reached to the tree I always sit at and sat side by side.

"Don't hang out with other guys. Especially that guy in the hallway." He said coldly
"Why? He's my only friend, and why do you care?" I asked
"Because i'm your boyfriend and I should be the only guy you look at." He said smirking
"Since when we started dating?" I asked
"Today, right now. Now stop asking questions." He said

I just pouted because I don't know what to say besides ask questions. We just sat there and relaxed. No one bothered to talk, so during lunch it was complete silence. Besides the birds chirping and the sound of the wind blowing through the leaves.

"We're still going after school together right?" He asked
"Sure! If you're not gonna bail on me again." I pouted
"Tch, you're so cute." He said while ruffling my hair.

I find it very cute when he does that. I blush every time he looks at me, when he smirks or smiles. I have this feeling in my stomach, like I want to just jump up out of happiness.

After lunch we go to class together, before we entered class, Kai holds on to my hand and drags me into class. When we got in we hear gasps and whispers like

"How many boys is she with?"
"What a slut"
Why is he with her?"
"OPPA LOVE ME!"
"Wow a nerd turns into a slut"
"HAHAHAHAHA"
"Wait until Suzy finds out"

Once I heard that last whisper, I yanked my hand away from Kai's. He gave me a questioned looked, I just shook my head at him and sat in my seat quietly. Peoples eyes were still on us, I pray that the teacher will come in soon. I see this girl come to me and slam her hands on my desk, I flinch at the sudden action.

"Watch out slut, you could be ending up in the hospital." She said
"Don't call her a slut, she's my girlfriend." Kai said

She glares at me and rolls her eyes before walking away. The teacher comes in and everyone sits down. I just sit there in shock and started sweating because I was so scared. What do I do now? For the rest of class I couldn't focus, I was thinking about running home after this, but I have to go with Kai after school. I said that I could go so I will go, I gave him my word.

*Time skip~*

*Bell Rings* School finish

I walk out of class with Kai trying to catch up with me.

"Hey! Wait up." He said

So I did, I stopped and waited for him. Once he caught up we walked side by side to the nearest café. We arrived at the bubble tea place Sehun took me too.

"Anything you want?" He asked
"Can I have green tea flavored bubble tea?" I said

I wanted to try something new. Maybe this will be my new favorite flavor. I watch him as he goes to the cashier and order. I admire his back, this will probably the only time I can stare at him and not get caught, since his back is facing me. He turned around to look at me and I quickly tried to look away without making it obvious. It's not the first time I did this to him, he just never noticed.

He came back with our bubble tea and he got the strawberry flavor. I never knew there was strawberry, I should get that next time.

"You like strawberry?" I asked
"Yeah, That's my favorite flavor for everything." He said smiling
"Really? Me too." I smiled back

Kai POV

"Really? Me too." She said smiling at me

I never seen that smile before, she looks....beautiful. She should smile more.
Stop it Jongin! Remember the deal! I decided to take her to a nearby park to walk around and talk. Girls love that, that will make her fall in love with me, really hard.

We walk together under the evening sky. The sun is going down, this will do it. She's not looking at me though, why? I looked at her instead, shouldn't it be her falling in love with me? Not the other way around. I take this time to admire her face, I find it very cute. Her small chubby cheeks, those eyes that are bright even when the sun isn't shining.

I was too busy looking at her face I tripped on a rock. She was laughing so hard it made me laugh too. Her laugh is so beautiful and rare to hear. Maybe i'm starting to like her too fast, I need to calm down. It's time to make my move, we sat down at a park bench and I put my arm around her and pulled her close to me. I could feel her not moving, she must be surprised.

"Relax, this is normal. Get used to it." I said

I feel her loosen up a bit. I get comfortable and wrap my arms around her, and again she's shocked. I laugh at her actions and smirked.
