Chapter 5

Bell Rings - 8:00am

I was too busy spacing out I didn't realize that the bell had just rung. I run to class, hoping i won't be late.

I made it! Phew, that was close. I take my seat at the back of the class and wait for the teacher to come in.
The teacher came in and said an announcement
"We have a a new student, he's from class A-217."
I look up and saw Kim Jongin.....
"Take a seat next to Soojung-sshi." He said
"Great...." I say to myself
He makes his way to the seat next to me, while the class fangirls over him.

"Omg oppa sit next to me"

"Why is he sitting next to her"

Once he sat down I keep avoiding eye contact, trying to not look at him. I just look out the window and space out.
I keep thinking if I should go with Kai afterschool. Suddenly a voice interrupts my thoughts

"Hey Soojung." Kai says
"Hi?" I said before looking away again.

I really hope the lunch bell rings. After that long and boring class the lunch bell rung.

*Lunch bell rings*

As always im always the last one to leave the class. I walk out of the class and accidentally bump into someone.

"Sorry." I say to the person
"Oops, It's okay." He says

After that I continued walking going to the field, I really hope Kai isn't there.
Maybe I should meet him up after school. Just thinking about it gives me butterflies.

Why do I feel like someone is following me? I turn around and see that guy i bumped into. I turn to him and said
"Are you following me?"
"Yes, can I?" He replied

I didn't bother to answer back, so I kept walking and he walking beside me.

Once i arrived at my spot, he decided to break the ice.
"What's your name?" He asked
"Soojung, you?" I replied
"Sehun." He said
After that short introduction the awkward silence continues. It seems like we won't be talking, so I plugged in my ear phones and closed my eyes.

I felt like someone was looking and me so I opened my eyes and that Sehun guy was starring at me.

"What are you looking at?" I said
"You. You look so fragile and innocent, I like you" he answered

I stared at him with wide eyes and flushed red cheeks. No one has ever complimented me like that. While I stare at him he smiles at me and even harder.

"Did you eat yet?" He asks
I didn't answer him, I just stared at him blankly and them he started to wave his hand in my face,

"Hello? Soojung-sshi, are you there?" He said while laughing.
I snap out of it and tried to hide my blushing face.

"Don't hide your face, I want to see it." He says while smiling.
"I'm not hiding my face, I just rubbed my face because I felt like something was on it, and no, I did not eat yet. I don't eat school food." I say in defense.
"So, you want to go to the cafè after school?" I asks

Afterschool? But Kai is taking me out. Should i go with him? Or Kai?
