That night we all got the same dream again. This time, It was weird, though. Everyone stood holding their swords as if I were the queen, letting me walk under them. They all called me 'The Blessed One'. They called Tara and Echo 'The Blessed Daughters'. All the ones whom did the top numbers of the obstacle curse in each cabin were all lined up, single file. I was to pick five of each. Of course, 'The Blessed Daughter' had to go. I was very thankful for that. They were my best friends. We left, and they trained the others until they were ready to go. We all woke up at the same exact time. "Uh? What happened? did you all get the same dream I did?" I asked confused. They all said "Yes. Uh huh." Chiron told certain people to line up. Those were the best ones, which I had to pick from. "Alright. First, in the Apollo cabin...... Ashley, Tim, James, ad Seth." I said. I only had to pick four of them, because I was the fifth, obviously. In the cabins that had less than five, I had to use all of them. Like Poseidon only had Percy and Tyson, and Zeus only had Thalia. In the Hermes cabin, I picked Jessica, Molly, Derek, Jordan, and Chad. "Ares: Josh, Arrisa, Emily, Tara, Echo. Hermes: Jessica, Molly, Derek, Jordan, Chad,Athena: Annabeth, Blake, Brittney, Nora, Fate. Hera: Chasper, Wen, Mark, Stacy, Skylar. Hestia: Allie, Chloe, Alex, Riely, Mackenzie. Aphrodite: Tina, Clair, Audree, Breanna, Baylee. Alright!" They all came forward. Some of the rest were happy and joyful, and some of the rest were sad and gloomy.
We packed up that night, and the next morning we bored a plane. "Ooh. Airplane food." Ashley said until she saw it. She, then, changed her mind. "I mean, uh, it's not as I dreamed." We all goggled a bit. There was enough of us to fill our own small plane. "Drinks? Drinks? Anyone want drinks? " The flight attendant said as she walked down the isle. None of us were thirsty, so she just got her self a water. The plane started to shake and her water spilled a little puddle. "Turbulence." She warned all of us. This trip lasted us close to thirty-two hours long. In translation, it was one and a half days.
Finally, we landed. We got into the motel again, and settled in. I shared the room with my best friends again, since we had to leave our friends forever vacation early to do this scary thing. Yes, this is scary. Just knowing that i'm a half-blood is scary. It means our lives will be put into danger over, and, over, and over again. Percy's stories were quite fascinating. I really liked the one about how when he first found found out the secret. He fought the Minotaur, and then met Annabeth, whom he called 'beauty'.
"So, do we know anything about what's gonna happen to us?" I asked everyone. We were all in a circle in Percy, Tyson, Annabeth, and Thalia's room. "Well, We're all going to be in divisions. The Athenians will be doing things like research, tracking, you get the point. We're going to try to put a chip into the monsters, or creatures, whatever you call them. We're going to send certain people out there to fight when we're ready; Ares, Hephaestus, Apollo, Poseidon, Zeus, you get it, right? We may need to call in the hunters. They could help us greatly. Even though we don't like them, we should still be nice to them. " Percy explained. I didn't know who the hunters were, so I asked him. Thalia responded. "Artemis gets come people to pledge to be a maiden forever and ever, and to stick with her, you get immortality, and skills to hunt. They track down these monsters." I thought that might be pretty cool, but I didn't want to stay a maiden. One day, I wanted to have a husband and kids. We planned out some things like what we were going to do. Tyson made us some swords and shields. The hunters were already called to fight, and they would be here in a weak. I anticipated that.
The next morning we trained, while Tyson kept making swords, and the Athenians kept researching. You know I was terrified about this; I was sweating an ocean, rocking back and fourth, trembling and shaking, and breathing heavy. The others just had an uneasy feeling, nothing like mine. for over seven hours, they were researching. "Anything yet?" We kept asking. I was reading my big book. They had nothing. "Here it says that it's weakness is it's stomach. If we can just get it in he stomach, find a way, all work together, them maybe we can do this!" I informed them. Annabeth sided with me on that. "That's a good theory. If some of the strongest and most likely to survive distract it, maybe people like the hunters and shoot into it's stomach." The hunters typically used bow and arrows, so it would be perfect. That would take care of one of the monsters for us. "What if we go underground?" I asked.
"What exactly do you mean by 'go underground'?" Percy got a little confused. How could he not know what I meant?
"Well, I mean, what id we dig a tunnel? We could sneak through, and put the chip right through them."
"That could probably work. I don't know. Annabeth? Your smart."
"That actually, would be a good idea. I'm starting to really, really, like you." Annabeth responded. We all cheered.
Yawn! Today was thee day. Sneaking out at around three thirty in the morning, we grabbed our supplies and gear, and headed out. Three thirty was the perfect time. If we left later, others would wonder what we were doing, and be suspicious. Now, if we left earlier, we would be tired. Because we all had teamwork, the tunnel was ready in less than an hour. More like, half and hour. "Perfect." I whispered. It was ten feet deep, and twelve feet wide. Tyson was a big guy whom pefered to have space. We kept digging as we went along. "Ew! What's that smell" Peyton Tara asked. Then, we all responded "Shh! That would be the dirt compost."
After about an hour, Fate from the Athena cabin finally exclaimed that he got a feeling that this was there the creature was supposed to be. That was it! We all got out. The sun was bright now, as it was nine o'clock.
