After hours of watching Melissa sew, she finally finished fixing the dress. Only... It's a bit more than just finished. She completely transformed it.

"Melissa are you sure that's the same dress?"

She had made the chest smaller, removed the sequence and reveled the beautiful satin fabric underneath, and made the skit shorter. Now it was about three inches above the knee, and used the access fabric from the skirt to make a belt and covered it in fake jewels

"No time to talk," she said "go try it on, you half to be ready in an hour."

I took the dress and slipped it on. Surprisingly enough, it fit perfectly. The only bad thing was that it fit a little too well.

The chest was skin tight and made her chest look way bigger than it was. Not to mention that she had given it a sweetheart neckline, which showed off a bit more of here cleavage than she was comfortable with. I sighed and walked out of the bathroom into the hallway were Melissa was waiting.
" It fits perfectly Melissa, now can we go and get this over with?"

"No way! You don't have any shoes to match that!"

"Melissa the ones I have are fine, we don't have time for this."

She glanced over to her only pair of dress shoes, which she hadn't worn in years. They we're plain black flats with small bows on the top.

" no way your going in those old things. An that's why I brought these!"

She pulled out a pair of silver heels from begging her back.

"Here, put them on."

There was no point in trying to argue, so Kayla reluctantly took the heels and slipped them on.

"There. Now let's go, he's going to be here in, like, fifteen minutes."

"Ok, ok... After I do your hair."

Before she could protest Melissa pushed back into the bathroom and grabbed the unused curling iron sitting on the bathroom counter.

Fifteen minutes later there was a knock at the door. Melissa wasn't done with my hair yet, so she the curling iron down and ran to the door. She heard Peters voice and Melissa's squeal downstairs.

Crap. It hit her, she was really going through with this. Why was this happening to her? She didn't want to like him, she didn't want any of this. She just wanted to go back to her old life.
" it'll all pass," she mumbled to herself "I'll go on this one date, realize that I don't like him, and I'll go back to my old life."

But she knew deep down that it wasn't true. She really did like Peter.

"Ok let's finish your hair and get you out the door!"

"Yeah... Let's."
