I run. I don't know where, but I run.

Raindrops run down my face and I hope it hides me tears, but I spot people giving me sympathetic looks. I push through the crowd, and trip over someone's foot. I fall on the rough sidewalk, scraping my hands.

When I try to stand up someone steps on my hand, and another on the corner of my skirt and it rips.

I quickly push myself up an keep running.

Eventually I escape the crowd. But I keep running, my vision distorted from the tears. Finally I slow to a walk and stagger to a bus stop where I sit down. I burry my face in my hands, but quickly pull away.

I cringe when I realize that my palms are covered in blood so I stand and hold my hands out in the rain, trying to rinse them. Then I sit back down and pull my legs up onto the bench, leaning against the glass behind me.

At least I'm alone, so I have time to think. He was right, I pushed him away and I shut him out.

The truth is, I knew he was trying to help. I knew he was trying to be there. But I don't want to admit it.

I lean my head against the glass wall behind me and watch the rain. I wipe my eyes with the back of my hand and take a shaky breath breath as I stand up.

I look around and take in my surroundings, trying to figure out where I am. But as soon as I take a step, the heel on my shoe snaps and my ankle buckles.

I'm pulling my shoes off when a car pulls up in front of me and two people step out; masks over their faces. One of them buff and tall, the other is at most 6 inches shorter, a woman

"Who are you? What do you want with me?" I ask. They keep walking towards me and I stand, "tell me!" The woman holds and object in their right hand; a gun.

I step back, "leave me alone!" They keep walking forward. The man stops and crosses his arms,"make it quick
Aleyna. We don't want to make the boss mad."

"Yeah I know," she stops no more than five feet away from me. My back is pressed against the glass wall of the bus stop.

Aleyna glares at me with cold blue eyes. Then she looks down at her gun and loads it. She lifts it, holding her finger on the trigger, "there's someone who wants to see you."

I squeeze my eyes shut and a loud crack slices the air and a shock of pain shoots through my left arm. I fall to the ground, clutching my shoulder. I see black spots in my vision. My ears ringing. Blood trickles down my arm, and it becomes harder to breath.

I look up to see two blurred faces leaning over me, then I feel arms wrapping around me and my vision goes dark.
