I was downstairs fixing breakfast before my husband had to go into work, I heard the shower turn on which let me know he was awake. I went and woke up our three year old daughter, Alex. "Come on baby wake up so we can eat breakfast with daddy before he leaves for work," I said as I slightly shook her. She rubbed her eyes then stretched her arms towards me, "Mommy," she whined. I picked her up and we went downstairs. I was finishing up the food when Shane wrapped his arms around me, "Good morning baby," he mumbled into my neck as he kissed it. "Morning Shane," I said. "Daddy!" Alex said excitedly from her high chair. "Morning my princess!" Shane exclaimed as he walked over to her. Alex pointed to her lips and Shane gave her a kiss, "Wuv you Daddy," Alex said. "I love you too, Alex," Shane said. I brought them their food and then we ate.
Shane helped me clean up for breakfast then he had to leave, "Bye babe. Y'all should come down to the station after while and see me," Shane winked. I looked up at him, "If I'm not busy cleaning or whatever, we'll be down there around noon," I said. "Great! I love you girls! See you later," Shane said as he kissed us both and left.
