Scott's POV:

4 killings in one day. Yep, typical Beacon Hills day. Kasia had apparently told Derek but he wouldn't tell me how she knew. Stiles was pacing back and forth as we stood in front of 4 ambulances and 3 police cars. Mr.Stilinski was questioning the other students about what happened. The incident caused quite a buzz in Beacon Hills. The principal canceled a week of school until the “Animal” problem was solved. Of course Derek and I were trying to figure out a way of getting rid of the new wolf pack.

“Scott!” Suddenly Derek’s impatient voice fills my head. “Huh? Yeah, what?” I look up at the group before me. Derek, Stiles, Lydia, Isaac, Allison, and Allison’s father stare at me expectantly. “Sorry I was zoning out.” I mutter an apology. “Yep we know that buddy.” Stiles pats me on the back. “So has anyone talked to Kasia?” Mr. Argent questions everyone. I put my hand up “She talked to me while open block today.” Stiles stares at me with wide eyes and a dropped jaw. “Wait. What? When? How? Why didn’t you tell me this?” Stiles stutters with full interest in the incident. “She told me that she didn’t kill the guy that was found yesterday. All she really told me overall is she has a plan and I shouldn’t mess with it. But the weird thing is she keeps repeating that she is stronger than an alpha and she’s going to end up saving us. And this happened right before the whole killing thing so no; I didn’t have the time to tell you.” I could see that they all expected me to go on but that was all I had. “That’s it? Why didn’t you ask her more like I don’t know, WHY THERE IS A PACK OF CANADIAN WERWOLVES ATTACKING INNOCENT PEOPLE?” Derek yells and pushes me toward the wall. “How was I supposed to know about something like that BEFORE IT HAPPENED?” Derek looks away apologetically. “Okay yelling obviously isn’t helping us why don’t you two just stay quiet for a bit?” Mr. Argent attempts to calm Derek down a bit. “Okay does anyone know where we can find this Kasia girl?” Isaac looks up at me expectantly. “We don’t know where she is and how would we even find-” Derek starts to rant again but a too familiar laugh fills the air.

“That’s a good question Derek.” We all turn to her as she smiles her suspicious grin. The blood on her clothing was more than evident. Her nails were drawn but her eyes were still a brown shade. “You could give me a call or text me. Or contact me through one of the many social network sites that most of the young people use these days. Only on weekdays though.” Kasia pauses. All of us were staring at her in irritation. “I’m just kidding gosh. Can’t you people take a joke?” Derek takes 2 steps toward her with a low growl. “Tell us what’s going on or I’m gonna rip your throat out. With my teeth.” He sharply snaps at her in annoyance. Kasia takes 3 steps toward Derek teasingly.  Derek walks toward her another 2 steps. She takes another step until she is right in front of Derek. He roars at her to scare her. But that only made her smile. She roars back but her voice had a strong tone to it, more powerful than Derek’s. It was louder and it was nothing like I’ve ever heard before. Her eyes glow with a green luminance. Derek takes a step back and the rest of us too. “Sorry I took that one too far. Look I know I seem like the bad guy here but I promise you one thing: I have nothing to do with the wolf pack coming here. I swear. If I did would I come all the way to this house to get killed by the enemy?” Her story was convincing but I could see that Derek still didn’t trust her. “Why would we trust someone who sneaks around like that and is connected to a murder?” Derek challenges her. “Because of this.” She speaks in confidence.

Suddenly a man jumps on her from behind and attempts to attack her. Kasia puts a hand on the man’s shoulder and he goes soaring through the just fixed window. One moment, Kasia was being attacked, and the next moment, the man was dead. We all stood there in awe. All she did was tap him on the shoulder practically and he burst through the window. Kasia turns toward us as if nothing happened. “Sorry about the window by the way.” Derek’s shocked expression only lasted a second and his usual expression masked the surprise. “What are you?” He questioned the fragile figure that seconds ago pushed a man larger than herself through a window with one hand that stood in front of us now with an innocent look that could fool anyone but us.

Immortalis Lupus.” Lydia whispered. “What?” Stiles asks Lydia but no answer. “Nothing, it’s nothing.” Lydia stuttered nervously. I could feel Kasia’s gaze on us. “Qui nescit dissimulare magis et minus nota.” Kasia says towards Lydia. Lydia stared up at her with fear evident in her eyes. Kasia’s eyes now glowed with curiosity. “You understand Latin.” She pointed at Lydia with a strong glint in her eyes. I could feel Lydia’s arm shaking underneath my hand but her voice stayed strong. “Yes I do.” She said matter-of-factly. Kasia grinned at those words. Derek was growing impatient with Kasia. I could tell by the way he clenched and unclenched his fists over and over again. “I think it’s time for you to go.” Mr. Argent butts into the stare off that started between us and Kasia. Derek was about to say something but Mr. Argent put a hand up to stop him from saying anything further. “I thought you guys wanted to ask me some things.”  Isaac slams the door closed before she could reach it. “Yes we do. In fact, we have a few questions that only you can answer, Kasia Hayes.” Derek stretches out her full name.
