Avery's POV
I felt like it was more than just sex once we arrived at his house. It was sweet and full of compassion throughout it all. It lasted longer too.
Three hours later I woke up and went to the kitchen to get me food. I opened a package of oreos and poured myself some milk.
"Someone's hungry," Jax said walking up behind me and pecking my neck. I nodded and kept eating.
"So the guys and Leah want to come over."
I nodded and kept eating.
"We should tell them what they have missed before they hear it from the wrong people."
"Yeah, we haven't talked to them in forever," I said with a mouth full of oreos.
He rolled his eyes and smirked. "Avery you're going to look like an Oreo pretty soon."
"I wouldn't mind," I laughed and took a drink of my milk.
"How do you know if you're pregnant?"
I shrugged. "We will see in two weeks. If it says I'm pregnant, then I'm pregnant."
"Avery.. We're not going to be in the baby's life. We're going to give away what we made a couple hours ago. I don't think I'll be able to handle that."
"I know baby," I said standing up and wrapping my arms around him. "But we can always have more children. What will everyone think when you walk around school and say you're giving the baby away to the man that... That killed... My mom?"
I held him tighter and kissed his chin. "I'm so, so sorry," I whispered into his ear. He cried onto me and held me tighter.
"Hey," Michael said walking in with Leah and Kacey.
Jax wiped his tears and smiled. "Hey guys."
"What's up?" Kacey sat down on the couch curious as to why jax had been crying.
"We have to tell you guys some things," I said pulling jax onto the couch with me.
Everyone sat down and eyed us suspiciously.
"So 'dad' is behind everything with the race. Jared too, but John killed Jared. Dad had people um... Kill...Mom," Jax said trying not to cry. "And the only way we are alive is because we told him Avery's pregnant."
"Avery is pregnant?" Leah looked astonished.
"Well I'm hoping I am," I said holding Jax's hand. "If I'm not we'll have to try again fast before Jax's dad figures out we fooled him. We're giving him the baby once it's born."
"So you guys went from fighting and technically not together, to now having a child together?" Kacey whistled. "That's some wild making up."
"Well we sort of just dropped the reason that we 'broke up'," I said biting my lip. "I did something unforgivable."
"But I forgave you, so everything is alright between us," Jax said hugging my waist. I laid my head into his chest and closed my eyes with a small smile.
"I just want to know why neither of you told us anything about what was going on," Leah said giving us a judgmental look. I shrugged.
"Well in the all honest truth, you didn't even know about racing until you snooped around and got into our personal lives," Jax grumbled.
"Well our snooping around did save your lives," Leah shot back.l
"Well your snooping around got Courtney killed," Jax said through his teeth. "Now she isn't here. Because you killed her."
