ROSE'S POV

Everything was going as planned.

I'm officially bound to Cristiano for the rest of my life and the next. I honestly couldn't be happier about it.

There was only now thing left to do and that was tell Cristiano the news.

I had taken a pregnancy test back in April and it came out positive. I never believed in those over the counter test so I had one of the nurses run actual blood test and it supported the drugstore one I had taken.

I was pregnant with Cristiano's baby. Luckily my bump didn't grow much. I'm three months pregnant right now so it's a wonder how it hasn't begun to show even in the slightest.

"What are you thinking about amore," Cristiano said interrupting my thoughts as he sat in his chair next to me.

"About something that I've been meaning to talk to you about," I said smiling.

"What is it," he said nervously as he held my hand.

I took his hand and placed it over my stomach and began to tear up and smile at the idea I was going to be the mother of his child.

He looked at my hand and where it was and then up at me.

"Are we going...are you p...am I..." he couldn't seem to say anything with the surge of excitement that lit his face as he put his hand on my own.

"Yes, I'm almost three months pregnant," I nodded.

"Oh my...." he said as he got up and I stood up after him.

"I'm going to be a dad," he yelled out as he picked me up and spun me around.

He took my face in his hands and kissed me.

"Thank you thank you thank you," he said, "you've made me the happiest man on earth by marrying me and even more now with this amazing surprise."

"Well it's a result from both our work," I smiled at him.

He gave me a smirk in return and kissed me again.

"Can we do that work again tonight," he whispered.

"Anytime you want," I whispered back.

Then Papa and Mama rushed up to us.

"Did I hear right or am I hallucinating," Papa started, "I'm going to be a nonno again?"

"You heard right Papa," Cristiano smiled uncontrollably as he confirmed the news to his father.

Papa hugged me tightly saying, "This is wonderful news bambina. I'm filled with so much joy with this news."

"So are we Papa," I replied to him letting go of him only to be hugged to Mama.

"My Rose is going to be a mommy," she cried," This is such wonderful wonderful news."

All the rest go the family came and congratulated us and Leo began to cry.

"I'm going to have a cousin," he began, "this is so beautiful."

"Oh don't be so damn emotional," Angelo said as he wiped away some of his own tears.

"Oh come on Angelo don't be so emotional," Gio teased.

"I'm not something just...got in my eye," he laughed wiping away a tear.

Cristiano pulled me onto the dance floor and we began to slow dance to what I thought was an instrumental version of I Don't Want to Miss a Thing by Aerosmith.

"I could stay awake just to hear your breathing, watch you smile while you are sleeping, while you're far away and dreaming."

As we turned I saw my cousin Adrian appear on stage to join his band.

"Oh my gosh it's been years since I've seen him,' I told Cristiano.

"I know. He told me. He's one of my best friends out in Houston so I had him come out and surprise you when I found out he was family."

"You're the best," I told him as we continued to dance.

The song ended and I ran to Adrian.

"Hey you," he said as he hugged me.

"I've missed you so much," I told him.

"I have too. I heard you got married and you're having a baby."

"Both true but the baby news just came to light a couple minutes ago how did you..."

I turned to Cris and saw his fingers flying away on his phone.

"That's how," he laughed.

"Well I'm glad you came," I told him.

"I am too. But I have to ask Cristiano and you a favor but in private."

"Sure thing."

I went to get Cristiano and all three of us went back into the house and into the study.

"Well what's going on," Cristiano said as he closed the door.

"You two remember Axel, our now dead cousin right,"he started.

"Yeah," we both replied in unison.

"Well he was considered one of the best in the Irish mafia, so when you killed him they were furious. I was sent a note to my job and it said to not worry that whom ever did this to my cousin would pay dearly with their life."

"Are you telling us they're looking to kill us," I asked.

"No they aren't looking," he said turning to look out the window," they're hunting."
