ROSE'S POV

"Well this was a great idea Rose, " I said to my self as I stood their amongst the beasts.

"Let's prove your loyalty to the mafia by going back and protecting everyone from a pack of 5 wolves."

I flinched when I felt one snarl a bit too close for comfort.

"5 very big, very mean looking, very murderous looking wolves."

They were circling around me as I stood there ready to attack or be attacked. They could smell my fear in every drop of sweat that dripped from my body.

Then it began.

The smallest of the five jumped at me head on and missed but then I came to realize it had only been a distraction.

"OWWWWWWWWW!"

I let out a painful cry that turned into a howl when I felt teeth sink into my left calve.

I felt the heat from the blood that started to drip to the ground from my leg. I turned to see just who had clung on to my leg and came face to face with who I assumed was the alpha wolf.

The monstrously huge creature and I looked each other straight in the eye. His pale yellow eyes against my own almost black dark brown eyes.

Then out of no where he let go and the three others that hadn't attacked stepped forward

Then out of no where he let go and the three others that hadn't attacked stepped forward.

Both my knees were on the ground by now and soon my entire body was after one jumped on my back and slammed it down.

The two others soon started to sniff my leg and I thought to myself , "This is it good bye leg."

But instead of ripping my limb off they simply ripped my pants leg off and then began to...lick where I had been bit.

I felt as their tongues "cleansed" (in their knowledge) the wound.

Soon I heard footsteps coming near.

"ROSE!!!"

I heard Cristiano's voice cry out causing the wolves to stop what they were doing and immediately formed a barricade between me and Cristiano and snarled at him as if protecting me.

"No no no," I said struggling to get up.

I limped a bit past the wolves and fell to my knees.

Two nudged under my arms to help my stay up.

"It's okay Cristiano she'll be fine," I heard a deep and manly voice say behind me.

"Ciò che nel mondo ? Nonno," Cristiano said shocked (What in the world? Grandfather)

"Yes Cristiano, Nonno is alive," the man replied (Grandfather)

He walked up to us to where I could see him. He was a tall man who looked very well conserved for how ever old he was. However he seemed really familiar from somewhere.
