Prologue
I wake up in an all white room. The place reeks of sanitary-hospital-nqess. Why am I here? What happened?
I hear the beep of machines and I turn my head to look around. Taking in my surroundings, I notice that the room is small. The walls are completely white and there's no furniture other than my little white bed, with white sheets and a white pillow. There's no window and only a small light bulb above my head to illuminate the room. There doesn't seem to be a door and I idly wonder how they got me in here. Wait, shouldn't I be panicking? No, I need to stay calm if I'm going to get through this. I make a mental list of things I know about where I am.
Things I know
*nothing
Okay, how about things I don't know...
Things I don't know
*Where I am
*Who brought me here
*What I'm doing here
*Everything else that has to do with this place.
Great, I don't know anything.
Suddenly a piece of the wall dissolves, and a man wearing a lab coat comes in. As soon as he's in, the wall re-builds right behind him and I notice a fist sized black circle that wasn't there before.
"Good Afternoon, Anastasia. Welcome to The Institution. I'm Mr. Strong-Crest, your medic." He says before tampering on the tablet he's holding.
"You'll be feeling slightly sleepy in a few seconds. Don't try to resist it. You're being pumped full of drugs right now. I'll see you for your examination when you wake up." He says with a smile.
I try to open my mouth but it doesn't work. My head starts to feel heavy and the last thing I see is the man looking into the black circle before the wall disappears, and he walks through. Before the wall can finish re-constructing I'm asleep.
