Katie's P.O.V

So, where do we go from here? We're at a dead end, with no new evidence, no more leads. To think we thought we had this covered; obviously not. I leant against the bookshelf, analysing and rereading the new file repetitively over and over again. Last time he was seen was leaving that Club Lenzo... which is where the last victim was last seen. Coincidence? I think not.

A long, heavy sigh falls from my red coloured lips as I bring my head up to look over at Harry. He looked as though he was in deep thought and concentration, his eyes staring aimlessly down at the floor whilst he rested his elbows on his desk.

"What the hell are we gonna do?" I blurt out, finally breaking the silence that has been looming around us both.

"I don't know, Katherine. Do I look like a fucking psychic?" He snapped, tilting his head up as he darted his eyes straight at me.

His attitude was so disgruntled, bitter and indignant. The curly haired lad really has fallen out with me big-style, over nothing. Why is he so bothered about the incident with myself and Niall? Yeah, I get that it was so unprofessional of me and all... but why does he care? The way he acted was like he's just caught me cheating on him or something, the whole "get off each other now". We're not even romantically linked or anything... So why the hell is he acting pissy?

"You really need to stop calling me that," I mumbled under my breath. "Can you please just cut this shit out for five minutes? We're at work, we're adults. We're not some kids arguing on a bloody playground, Harry." I snapped in return, crossing my arms over my chest.

"Whatever." He shrugged as he mumbled, leaning back in the office chair.

"If you're gonna be like this, I may as well work on the damn case alone." I replied, "At least one of us will get some work done," I added before shoving the case file in my briefcase and turned around, about to leave the room.

"Where the hell are you going?" He questions, standing up and following behind me.

"To solve this case, alone or not." I stated before swinging the door open and heading out.

Harry didn't say another word but simply followed me, trudging forwards as though he was leading. By that I'm taking he's came to his senses and has realised that this case is important before another life is sadly taken.

We walked out of the building and back to our car, Harry of course getting in the driver's seat. "Where are we going?" He asks, his voice soft, suddenly as though he didn't wanna even be here anymore.

I look at him as I buckle up and shrug, "I don't know. You're the one driving." My voice comes out smart and kind of bitchy. Harry looks at me and narrows his eyes slightly.

"I ask one simple question and you're suddenly a bitch," he tells me, shaking his head, and starting the car.

"Aren't you gonna put your seatbelt on?" I ask him as he backs out of the parking space. He reaches his right hand over to his left shoulder, grabbing the buckle. My eyes couldn't help but catch a glimpse of his bicep in uniform. I look away from him and look out the windshield, tapping my briefcase slightly.

Once he was buckled up, he drove off the lot and toward some place, that I had no idea where it was. He continued driving, his left hand on the wheel and his right hand resting on the gear shift. I glance over at him and frown softly, I hated fighting with Harry, but he has been such a dick to me since he caught Niall and I.

I decide to keep quiet and not ask where we were going. I take my phone out and check a few messages and then switching to my photos and scrolling through them. There were so many pictures of Harry and I, it was insane. Ever since the party we met at, we've been inseparable, what happened to us?
