"Kat, are you sure you're not sleepy? Lack of sleep having an affect on you? You don't have a little sister." Harry says to me, giving me a puzzled look. "Come on, that dream or nightmare, whichever, has obviously played mind games with you."

I give him a small nod, sighing lightly. "Well, I did have." I mumble, breaking the eye contact away from him.

"You've never mentioned a sister before now, you've always only ever talked about your older brother Jack." Harry replies, the puzzled expression still slapped across his facial features.

I shake my head slowly, staring down at the ground as I twiddled with my fingers. "You see, Harry... there's always parts of us that not everyone knows." I spoke quietly. "There's only so much I can hide though, right?"

Harry opened his mouth to say something, but quickly paused. He shifted his position and unwrapped his arm from my shoulder. His long legs crossed over one each other and turned to me, lifting my face up with his hands. "Well, right now, I'm all ears."

I take a deep breath and briefly close my eyes before fluttering them open again. "Well, fun fact, Kev and Carla Jones had three children, not two. Jack Robert Jones, Katherine Louise Jones and... Evelyn Jane Jones." I start and keep my head up to look at him. "We were such a close family and well, Evelyn... god. She was basically my mini-me, but with brown hair. She was two years younger than me, though she wasn't just my sister, she was my best friend. We would always play with Barbie's and Polly Pocket together, always playing pranks and jokes on Jack, always play outside pretending we were princesses, always helping mum cook, bake and just always be with one another. We were practically inseparable, wherever I was, she was. To Eve, I was her big sister who she looked up to and she was the one who I wanted to protect most."

A smile lingers on my face, thinking back to how everything used to be. But then, I pause for a few moments, the smile soon erasing from my lips.

"Then one night, that all changed."

December 24th, Christmas Eve, 2004:

Red, green and silver tinsel was decorated around the small living room. A bright and colourful Christmas tree displaying itself in the corner, whilst myself, Evelyn, Jack, Mum and Dad were all sat around the coffee table listening to Christmas songs and making festive decorations, whilst we escaped from the cold winter weather outside with the roaring log fire that was underneath the fireplace.

"Who is visiting in a couple of hours, kids?" Dad asks, full of cheer and enthusiasm.

"Santa! Santa!" Myself, Jack and Evelyn each squeal out in excitement.

"Only if you have all been good this year and are on the nice list..." Mum replies, smiling between us three kids.

"I am always nice! I definitely am on the nice list." I say proudly, whilst cutting out a snowflake shaped pattern.

"No! Kat and Eve should be on the naughty list," Jack pouts, crossing his arms over his chest. "They keep hiding my toys, it's so annoying!" The young boy adds, his arms still crossed. Me and Eve let out a light giggle in unison, mischievous expressions appearing on our faces.

"We are angels, Jacky! Me and KatKat do no such things." Eve defends, trying to hold back a laugh as she covers her mouth with her tiny fingers.

"Oh really," Jack says, rolling his eyes like the sassy 10 year old he is. "Then why did I find you and Katie snooping in MY room with MY action man in your hand?" He questions, raising a brow.

"We don't know what you're on about, sorry, Jacky Wacky." I giggle, giving an innocent look and Eve just shrugs her shoulders like she hasn't got a clue, but sticks out her tongue.
