My heart unleashes the tears,
Brought on by my worst fears.
My eyes seem to glisten,
Too bad you never listened.
I can't believe I loved you,
Allowed you to give me comfort.
I can't believe I trusted you,
Allowed you to use me.
Now I feel broken,
Battered and torn.
My hearts been ripped out,
Beaten and abused.
You said those final words,
Parted ways and destroyed.
I gave my love to you,
And you took all I had left.
