Chapter 6

Ino's POV

This is the day I'm going to return to Japan. Yieee im so excited I'm going to see forehead again after one year. You see I studied here in America at the request of my mom, of course I disagreed immediately cause I don't want to abandoned my best friend. But Sakura was the one who convinced me to study here.

"My mom can't stop thanking her for convincing me" I sweat dropped at the memory. My mom cried tears of joy and kept hugging Sakura while I just laughed at the corner. Thinking about that makes me smile.

"What are you smiling about?" A voice snapped me out of my thoughts. I turned to see my boyfriend leaning against my doorframe.

"Nothing I'm just excited too see forehead again" I smiled at him. He walked towards me and lay on the bed. "Jeez this guy is so lazy" I face palmed but even so I loved him to death.

"It's her birthday today right" shikamaru said boredly.

I nodded "that's why we're returning today I wouldn't want to miss her birthday"

"Did you buy her a gift?" He said. "Yup and I know she's going to love it" I squealed in happiness when I remembered my birthday gift to her. It's the latest dslr camera that she always wanted. Since it was released here in America forehead can't buy it. She even sulk in the corner when she heard that.

"Are you done packing your things ino?" I looked towards the door to see my mom standing and ready to go.. "Yup I'm just waiting for you guys to finished" I said.

"She didn't even sleep auntie" shikamaru said to my mom, I glared at him while he just smirked lazily at me.

"Of course she is" mom giggled. "Well we better get going, I'll just meet the both of you downstairs" she walked off dragging her luggage with her.

I sighed and get my suitcase from under my bed, I smack a pillow against his face "get up lazy ass" I shouted. He grabbed my pillow and throw somewhere.

"Troublesome woman" he muttered. I just gave him a sweet smile. "You better get your things in your room shika-Kun"

He sighed tiredly and dragged his body towards his room. I sweat dropped at his antics "he's the laziest person I know" I grumbled in my head. I went down the stairs and saw my mom and dad waiting for me, along with shika's parents. Both of our parents along with the parents of chouji (my other friend) are business partners. Shika's parents are here because they want to extend their company in US.

"Good morning ino" my dad greeted me. Oh I forgot it's one in the morning, I want to leave early in the morning. We have a private plane so it's no big deal.

"Good morning everyone" I greeted back.

"Where's shikamaru?" His dad asked. "He's in his room getting his luggage" as I said that shikamaru came down the stairs, grumbling about 'leaving so early in the morning' we just laughed at him.

"Are you both ready to go?" My mom said. Both of us nodded, we put our things inside the car and settled in. After 30 min of driving we finally arrived at the airport, we went to the private section where our plane is waiting. I choose a window seat beside me is shika already fast asleep.

I just looked at the window "wait for me Sakura" was my last thought until sleep consume me.

*Haruno mansion* (this is not ino's POV anymore)

All of the maids are busy preparing for the birthday celebration of Sakura haruno. Some of them are cooking while the others are busy decorating at the garden where Sakura's party will be held. What Sakura didn't know is that all of her close friends are coming to her birthday. Sakura haruno was still sleeping unaware of what's going inside the house.
